How could one make a sequel to Scribs? New puzzles and better controls, yes, but then the game loses it's uniqueness, which is it's biggest asset.

*Crosses fingers for Square Enix to surprise us with a trailer of Dragon Quest X* Seriously, that would make my day.
And since they are still showing off DQIX, despite it being out in Japan, maybe they'll take that time to confirm a North American release date?

Probably some sort of event; since TGS is open to the public for the last two days, it's added advertising. I doubt we'll see an American release date announcement.

I think a Scribs sequel to do a lot of things. Beyond just more puzzles, they could increase the object interactions and computer AI to make the game far more interesting. Object combination could also prove to be incredibly fun as well.
