Buy/Rent/Ignore - August '09 - Metroid Prime Trilogy Edition

Summer's almost over, so we should be at the end of these slow release months.

There are a few notable releases this month; Metroid Prime Trilogy and Cursed Mountain. There's also Madden if you're into American football games. If you're a fan of Spectrobes, the Wii entry in the series also becomes available. NISA's Phantom Brave Wii port also hits this month.

I'm still keeping an eye on Cursed Mountain, the concept and setting are intriguing. I'll probably pick it up down the road, though. Prime Trilogy would be a must buy if I didn't own all three already. My sister is picking up Phantom Brave though, so I'll probably get to try it out at some point.

I won't actually rent the trilogy, but I put it in that category to show that I'm still not sure I'll buy it. I already own all three games, so I'm still trying to decide if Wii controls and preorder swag will warrant $50. And of course, I still need to round up the money for July's games that I was going to get...
