You are Corobo Bred, the so-called "Little King". Once just a timid boy, he finds a mysterious crown that, once worn, grants him the power to charm people and make them follow his orders. With crown on head, Corobo becomes the king of Alpoko, but the village that you have known is but a small speck in the giant world. So what's a newly-crowned king to do? Conquer it.





The world needs to be conquered. But what's a king to do? Go out there and do it himself?

Of course not.

What self-respecting king would send himself into the fray?

The citizens of Alpoko are ready and willing to be follow you into battle and fight for their kingdom. It's kind of Pikmin, except with humans instead of little plant/animal things.



Your citizens have their own lives to live, you know. They also can learn to be actually useful once they train in a specific job, which can include Soldier, Carpenter, Farmer, Hunter, and more. Each job has their own strengths and weaknesses, and you'll need to utilize each and every once of them.

To the winner goes the spoils; once you conquer a kingdom, you get the land, the riches, and of course, the princess. Of course, our little Corobo's quite the player.

Well, Mirror's Edge is only like what 4 or 5 hours long? So it's understandable.

I'm glad I didn't pick up LKS and WSR both at once (WSR hasn't shipped from Amazon yet), because that means one has to be sorta-new still on the shelf while I play the other >_>

I just beat the 1st King XD

I beat the Berserker Knight Guardian UMA, but lost a couple soldiers in the process. I think I need to start doing some marrying later. I did one, but I forget who else was in love.

I also did a quest where I had to kill off nine chickens, but that near decimated my party =(

XSEED isn't a developer.

Yeah, from what I've read (even though I'm still early on; tried not to spoil story), there's some things you need to do to get the Steel Knight, Wizard and Doctor. I think you need to buy the related buildings for them; I would look up a FAQ for that.

I wouldn't put Corobo's expression on the LKS boxart as sinister. I see it more like he's smug.

I really wonder how he ending up with the name Corobo. I just named him after myself.

It's his default character name.

It helps a bit.

But honestly, if you're having trouble with those stairs, just walk up them real slow in Attack formation. I've had no real problems with those.
