Glad to see MM finally make it to VC. One of my personal favorite games ever, and my favorite Zelda. Luckily, I have it on my Collector's edition gamecube disc, so I don't have to download it.

Zero, you went about the game all wrong. In total, you get two and a half hours to complete a day (if you use the song of inverted time which you just have to play the Song of Time backwards to use).

Now, I can see how you'd think the time limit would ruin the game (like Metroid games!), but it's really no big problem. The time limit wasn't made with restrictions of any sort in mind. It was made to advance the depth of the side-quests (and advance it did). You can complete any the game's dungeons with all the stray fairies in about one or two in game days (depending on if you slow time first), if you're experienced, you can complete them in about half a day.

Now, there are instances where the time limit is used as just that, a time limit. However, these instances are obvious, such as the second Gold Skulltula house, which only gives you until the end of the first day to get the real reward.

When I play, I ignore the time limit and explore, well that's not entirely true, as the game's time limit is half the exploration. In Ocarina, or any Zelda for that matter, if you've explored an area once, there usually isn't much more for you to see unless there's an obvious need for new equipment. In Majora's Mask, several areas distinctly chane throughout the course of time. Ikana Graveyard changes every night, Clock Town is more diverse than most of Wind Waker's NPC developement put together. The only things that remain the same are the dungeons. [/rant]

Now it is, as I said, my favorite Zelda game.

Wind Waker puts up a good fight, they're both very similar. They both have alot of stock in side-quests and have large amounts of NPC developement.

Too bad Twilight Princess had to ruin it by removing anything like NPC developement and adding in a bunch of boring caverns and rupee based side-quests.

OOT haf a lot of NPC development, and balanced side quests, but TP is 90% caving, and 10$ of playing, MM had too a lot of NPC WW is ok but its large ocen get boring quickly and you cant get until past the 50% of the game a teleport song, while in OOt was passing the 25%, then 35%, 45% getting all the way up to 85%.

I liked the oceans, I loved pictography, I loved charting and I loved the platforming elements.

I loved Wind Waker.

I like it when any pedigreed developer decides to put something on Wii. However, I really, really dislike the way the article is worded.

It is more of this idiotic notion that you are either a violence crazed 20 year old thirsty for virtual blood or a grandma waggling a Wiimote, without any middle ground to be seen. I hate the idea that a title must be "mature rated" to be of any quality. Wii doesn't need more M rated games, what it needs are more AAA efforts, no matter the rating. Just focus on delivering great experiences instead of fitting into some idiotic label created by morons and gaming would be much better off. I'm not even directing this at Bethesda, but more at the idiot at IGN Europe who put this article together.

I know I'm exaggerating to make a point, but the idea behind it is very much real and present in the video game industry today, and it has really turned me off of games this and last gen.
