Ok then, how about
Wii GD 10, now with enhanced motion sensing!
In honor of the new attachment for the wiimote that's going to be released with that Wii Sports Resort game.
You have the go ahead. Ah, crap. I missed out on making the GD because I wasn't logged on. Oh well, I probably wouldn't have had anything worthwhile to say in the first post anyway. quote bbb7002004
And you thought that blue bar on the Wii was just for messages, ha! Damn blue bar. Why does the Wii only want to update at 3am when I get woken up to let my dog out? It was creepy until I figured out you could turn off the illumination.

So is Operation: Tooth Fairy being scrubbed? It's going to be difficult getting the deposit back on the 10,000 midget ninjas.

No, I don't usually wait to buy games until I've finished my others, although I usually like to make it through them before I start playing others, particularly around Christmas/birthdays. But sometimes even that can't be helped.

Maybe they're in storage or something? Man, my wife surprised me with a Wii point card when I got home. Sweet. One of the titles I picked up was Castlevania 3, since my old cartridge ran off with someone else. It's fine though, cuz the best thing about VC games is suspending play. So convenient.

Looks like I was right. Do I get a cookie?
Hey, does anyone know roughly when they're supposed to release the update where you can actually access the content on your SD card aka expand the Wii memory?

Yeah, it made RPGs mainstream, for better or for worse. I enjoyed it, It just doesn't rank in my top 5 FF games, or my top 20 rpgs. I really liked the GC as a platform last gen. I just got a PS2 for some RPGs and a few other games. If a game was released multi-platform, I would get the GC copy. Speaking of RPGs, is it true they're going to release DQ 5 & 6 on the DS before they get 9 out? Then I will be able to complete my collection!

Yeah, something akin to virtual reality is probably the most likely course. I think in 10 years time a lot of the overhyped series like Halo will be forgotten about. The only way you get to remain classic is by doing something very innovative and amazing, not just doing the same thing as a thousand other copycats.
So on that note, are there any games in particular that you think are likely destined for the title of classic?

What did Halo do that wasn't done before in a number of FPS's?

I'd say it has to do with market appeal, like bbb said. People expect to get FPS games on the 360 and that's where developers wil find the most receptive audience to that genre. It is a shame though, because with the Wii's interface it seems like it was made for FPS's. And we are getting Dead Space, so I think developers are finally looking at the Wii seriously.

The GC RE was pretty good. I'm sure you can pick it up on the cheap used from your local game store. And I don't really see why you would want a remake for the Wii when you can just get the GC one anyway.
On a different note, due to a recent lengthy power outage on base, the blocked website logs have been reset. So I'm no longer barred from visiting Neo at work. At least until they decide to block it again.

Of course. No sooner do I post that I'm back and Neo isn't blocked when they actually stay on top of the blocked log and re-block Neo. Figures. Anyway, I guess I'll be off indefinately until they slip up or I move to another area with less restrictions. I'm writing this from home, which is a rarity from me.
I didn't find the last boss that hard. I mean, she was no pushover but I think I only lost to her once. Then again, I'm a completionist and frequently over-level in RPGs. I prefer final bosses that but up some kind of fight. (Another one of my annoyances with FF7).
