Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Crystal bearers scrapped?

Since there's a brand new CC game for Wii And DS, That ISN'T Crsytal Bearers, has Crystal Bearers been scrapped? Maybe they scrapped it already, and started production on this one?

It seems to have the same story and levels each game, Wii version Motion controlled (Waggle+(WiiMotionPlus), Please?) and the DS game of the same name has Stylus control. Also... You can use Miis as characters, and the DS and Wii game can NWFC multiplay eachother. Local wireless works too, and the miis can be ported to the DS game.

It seems to stick to the GC game's roots for customization and some other things, yet Keeping the DS game's whole thing about "No stupid bucket" and "story with specific characters", while keeping the customazation as stated before.

IMO, This seems too good to be true, If it has a NA Release, I'll get both games.


But, all in end - Crystal bearers scrapped?

I'm gonna be a cynic and say I called this about a month ago. We haven't seen anything about it for nearly two years and Square Enix has announced/released four new FFCC games since then. I think they're just hoping we'll forget about it.

As for this Wii and DS game, I'm pretty confused about how this is all gonna work, but I can say this: Miis in Final Fantasy is a terrible idea.

They seem abit better than the GC Game.
