Kid Icarus Wii Predications

You should probably add the word "predictions" to the title to make it clear what your doing.

Anyways, with Factor 5 being all but confirmed as the developer for the game, I assume it would be some sort of flight action game given the studio's pedigree in that genre. I imagine it would be on-rails for the most part with branching paths and such. Similar to the original Kid Icarus, you would be able to purchase various upgrades with hearts you collect and that would probably be done at the end of each level. The Wiimote's motion control would be used to control the flight with the buttons used for arrows, speed adjustment, and other abilities you gain.

It would probably have some platforming levels to to diversify the experience and add another element of the original game. These would probably also take advantage of the sword's Pit got in Brawl. Maybe it would even use the targeting system from the 3D Zelda games for combat in these sequences.

Neither do I. The 2-D games were bad enough, so I don't really care what they do to it. I won't play it.

When it came out Kid Icarus was compared to Metroid, because they had similar gameplay, but a different format, Metroid was an action-adventure, but Kid Icarus was a 2D platformer.
The 3D Metroid games are now first person shooters, so a 3D Kid Icarus game could be the same, but no. The thing about Kid Icarus is it's a vertical scrolling platformer, which is where the heart of the game is. If you were to make Kid Icarus into 3D, it would become a first person shooter or a Zelda in disguise.

I like the idea about it being like Wario Land 5 though.

You never got past the first level did you? Only worlds 1 and 3 are vertical, the rest are horizontal, and every forth stage has an adventure map, it's possible that it could work, I know how a 3D kirby would work and I've designed it too (I doubt it'll ever get made, ever but it's very good and is possible and definitely seems like it would be fun.) some say that series wouldn't work in 3D but I know it would if they did it right, Sonic worked in 3D for a short while then they made some errors.

How do you figure? Peronally I found the adventure maps the best!

Good idea

Pit should still have the bow as the main weapon. I can image Nintendo making him mainly sword to make an easier for them to think of battle system, copying straight from LoZ.

And if anything they can always make the flight parts like this.

Mario also revived videogaming in America.

I would like it if it were like a Zelda game. Maybe you see him right in front of you, and you move him around, and you have your little items to help you out, and you explore places.
