DDR also provides some exercise.

I would definitely recommend DDR: Hottest Party if you are looking for a good cardio workout. You can really burn a lot with the game. Any version of DDR will do, really. If you play it on higher difficulties, it burns more calories than a treadmill (I think it was 650 an hour, but it's more on Extreme difficulty). It has a "Workout mode" if you want to burn a set amount of calories. And since the game is a lot of fun, you'll actually enjoy the exercise.

I had put on a few pounds during the Christmas season, and I also started playing DDR around then. I lost around 10 pounds in 3 days, and I was back in shape pretty soon afterwards. Plus, it's great cardio exercise, even if you aren't looking to lose weight.

I would recommend Wii Fit if your looking to lose weight. Now before Wii Fit, I was never overweight, but after about a month of Wii Fit, I was able to lose 7 lbs. Also, I go to the gym to work out about twice a week and that helps too. With a combination of Wii Fit, a gym, and eating right, you can lose weight fast.
