Wii Fit - First Impressions

Hello All,
I got that Wii Fit for me and the missus the other day, just wondering what everyone else thought of it. Here's mine.

The format is heavily based on that for "Brain Training", in that each day you come, it takes a few measurements, says how well you are doing, as well as having the games/exercises to help improve and the progress tracking. As with Brain Training, you also have to unlock games/exercises by reaching time goals and difficulties by performing well.

I think the most redeeming feature is the Centre of Gravity (CoG) sensitivity that can help guide you towards better posture and balance, something that I have had a lot of trouble with in the past.

However, despite it having a number of aerobic exercises (I haven't unlocked them all yet), I still feel that for prolonged health one should keep up the traditional methods of running, cycling and/or swimming.

The competition element of getting the high score can also act as incentive.

I might post back in a month of so to say if it is actually working or not. Time for another session!
