Boring or Not Boring

Do not got a Wii.
360 is so much better.
If you absolutely love SSBB, then get a Wii, but trust me, thats the only amazing game for it.

Wait, we're the biased ones, yet you give absolutely no reasoning behind why "360 is so much better." Nice.

Wii has a nice complement of features and games to appeal to a lot of different people. Wii has a ton of games that are great to play with a group/family, which it sounds like you are interested in. While some of the minigame compilations are duds, games like Wii Sports and Warioware are interesting in moderation, and you have staples like Smash Bros. and Mario Kart for that "simple enough for everyone but deep enough to satisfy" gameplay Nintendo does so well. On top of that, Wii has a library of excellent single player oriented games like Zelda TP, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Zack and Wiki, Okami, Resident Evil 4, No More Heroes, Super Paper Mario, and more, not even counting some excellent looking games that are coming out soon like Disaster: Days of Crisis, Tales of Symphonia 2, Fragile, Final Fantasy CCCB, Fatal Frame, Monster Hunter 3, Wii fit, and more. Add to this a huge library of backwards compatible Gamecube games, the single best collection of classic games with the Virtual Console which includes classics from NES, SNES, N64, Sega Masterdrive, Geneses, TurboGraphx16, and NeoGeo, as well as brand new Wiiware titles like World of Goo, Final Fantasy CC MLaK, LostWinds, Defend your Castle, Dr. Mario and others, and you have games to satisfy every possible player.

I personally have enjoyed my Wii for well over a year now, and have no desire at all to get one of the other systems.

Since he didn't provide any reasoning, yes, I would call him biased. Then again, Brolynick didn't come into a forum and insult its regular visitors either.

Does the Wii get boring? Frankly, no. There are tons of awesome games that you can play for it as bbb demonstrated so there is always something to play. You seem to be interested in more casual type games so you would definitely want to pick up Wii Fit, the most physically active game since DDR. Some 360 gamers seem to think that the only games that are "hardcore" are shooters-that's probably the type of gamer that you heard that from. But the Wii also offers tons of hardcore games of a variety of genres to keep pretty much everyone entertained.
