Excuse me but I take exception to that BS people like you comment. You might want to take a few steps back right there little man. First off I never once insulted your console or your game. I simply said don't over exaggerate the game. Secondly I never once EVER said anything about graphics in any topic in any forum about any console. All you have managed to do now is frankly piss me off by making unfounded judgements against me. Don't do it again.

Did I say I didn't want a Wii? No, I absolutely did not. Did I ever say I wouldn't buy Brawl when I do finally get a Wii? No, I did not say anything of the sort. I said when Nintendo catches up with demand and the idiotic call the shop everyday and hope they get a shipment BS stops I will gladly buy one. And look forward to playing Zelda and Galaxy and Brawl and whatever else might be halfway decent.

However in the mean time you can take any fan-boy over hyped BS and shove it. As I said I played Melee and I found the combat to be quite boring. If that entertains you then great. I don't expect anyone to like the games I like anyway. As I have said in the PS3 forums several hundred times I hate console FPS. Other people love them though and continue to buy them. Good for them I don't really care. What you think is good and what I think is good are two completely different things. As well as the way you play and the way I play.

I don't expect that I would play Brawl for more than a month or two before I move on to something else. In fact I know I won't. There has never once been any game that kept me playing for more than a month or two. Save perhaps Ultima Online or City of Heros and even those got boring after a time. And I always start out every game playing like a maniac all day and all night for the first week or two. I'm hardly impressed by the number of hours you put into the game in the first 48 hours after launch. As I said get back to me in a month or two. When there is some new game to distract your attention and tell me that you are still playing Brawl 24/7.

And how the heck did you get the game Saturday when it wasn't released until Tuesday?

Some games are overhyped. It is just a fact of life. Final fantasy is often overhyped. Especially FF7 which I liked but didn't think was anything special.

Hell I don't even care what was rated what of all time. I like what I like and to hell with hype and reviews. You're just never going to impress me with how many hours you have played brawl. Especially not in the first week.

Yes most games release on Tuesday. Particularly on the PS3. The Wii and 360 might have other days they prefer. I don't know I haven't purchased either of them YET.

ALL DVDs release on Tuesday. Somethings are just set in stone like that. You want to find good deals on new released movies go to Target or Wal-mart on Tuesday and look at the new releases. They always have them on sale $5 off for the first week.



HDTVs do cost as much as SDTV. At least as much as SDTVs cost about 4-5 years ago. You can easily get a 27" HDTV for about $300. You can find 32" for about $600. Thats exactly what we were paying for similar sized SDTVs in the 90s and into the early part of this century. And a a few years Blu-ray will be just as cheap as DVD. Everything gets cheaper in time.

However you're either going to have to get a new TV or a digital converter box because in 09 no TV stations will be broadcasting in analogue. Which means anyone without an HDTV, digital cable, or satillite is screwed yes.

You're simply justifieing why YOU think the ps3 sucks. And not one of your points is of any concern to anyone interested in the PS3. The PS3 is still cheap for a blu-ray player. Blu-ray is the future whether you like it or not. And HD is also the future like it or not. In 2009 if you live in the US you're either going to have to buy a new TV or a digital converter box. So get used to it. I haven't gone more than a day without turning my PS3 on for something. From what I have seen in this forum many Wii users can't say the same.

By the way the PS3 is $500 and $400 now. The $600 SKU was discontinued long ago.
