Those screenshots are most likely pre-rendered, since they look like cutscenes. The game should end up looking fairly similar, but in probably won't look quite as good as those cutscenes.

From my understanding, Tecmo is still developing the game, an Nintendo is simply handling the advertising, packaging, shipping, etc. aspect of the game, along with lending some staff members to the development team. Grasshopper studio is not developing the game, rather Suda51 of Grasshopper is co-directing with series veteran Makoto Shibata.

The article is fairly vague, but from what I gather, it seems to be a collaborative development between Tecmo and Grasshopper. The game details on the side of IGN's page seem to say that, and since they announced it, it's probably accurate. However, it is true that it doesn't explicitly say that Grasshopper as a whole is developing this, it only talks about Suda. I suppose I should change the title because of that .
