Neoseeker Forum's Top 10 Wii Games of 2007

I made this on the presumption that it would be fine with you guys.

Heya all, and welcome to Neoseeker's (Forum is there to separate this from an ACTUAL Neoseeker Top 10) Annual Top 10 Wii Games for this year! If you remember the Greatest PS2 Games Ever thread that I made two years ago, this will follow a similar format.

Using the code below, place your top game next to the '1)' position, your next top game to '2)' and so on up to 5. The vote has been restricted to 5 because of the lesser quantity of games judged, but the results will be shown in a 10 game list. The game you place first will be awarded 5 points, the second 4 points up to fifth which gains one point for the game. This system is not too fiddly and simple enough to understand and tally.

Any game can be submitted in your list, provided that it is available on the chosen format and has been released between the 1st of January and the 31st of December of 2007*.

* - Due to the late 2006 launch of the Wii and the PS3 as well as the stilted region release of the PS3, games from launch until the 31st of December CAN be voted on.

As well as the main list to determine the top games for each platform, genre-specific votes (such as Best FPS) will be included. You will only get one vote on the game you like the best in each category, so make it count! Note that the submission of a Top 5 list for each game is compulsory, but the genre-specific categories are optional.

An overall best will also be taken, using the average percentage of the vote taken by each game in their gaming platform (easy to calculate, but harder to explain ).

Voting will close in the next 10-14 days depending on the response by members, so to be sure your vote counts, do it early!

I would dress this up with fancy pictures and Photoshop FX, but I didn't want to sway the vote with any game images and it's quarter to midnight at the time of writing.

The 'Best Action Game' category is vague, but this includes primarily third-person games which involve some form of action. It's a hard category, and I will PM people if their vote for that particular section is invalid.

The 'Best Virtual Console Game' refers to any retro game released on VC in the specified dates.

Wii RPG... Haha. There ain't too many in that category, that's for sure. PM will be sent in an hour or two.

Yeah, uh, sent in my votes. But unfortunately came to a halt at the RPG section. There are like 5, and they aren't any good or they're currently only in Japan. So I did put Super Paper Mario in there, but I do know that is more of a action game, but considering the past two were basically RPG's, is it okay if you let this slide?

Also, couldn't find a good category for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, as it isn't an FPS or Action game, but more a First Person Action/Adventure.

But I'm happy with what I voted for.

Twilight Princess is an Action/Adventure.
Super Paper Mario in all technicality is a Platformer.

Then are there any RPG's to vote for?

Fire Emblem counts as strategy I think.
