Internet on the wii worth it...

It depends if you want an extremely basic wireless internet browser. If you do, then 500 Wii points is probably worth it. Otherwise, I suggest Paper Mario (N64) and Ocarina of Time (N64), which by the way cost 1000 points each. I have both of them and they rock. Also, you can get Wii points with a credit card, just put your info on the Wii in the shop channel and it takes money from the account.

Wait... so the people that downloaded before it cost 500 points got it for free and the people that want it now have to pay 500 of their hard earned wii points?

i really like it. its really good to watch youtube videos. i hear that they make flash games now on sites that you can use the wiimote for. dont know if thats true though.

Yeah, I think there is a site called Wiicade or something that uses the Wiimote's motion sensing to play games online.

what? i didnt have to pay wii points for the wiis internet channel and i still dont haveto even though i got the email saying i would have to at the end of june
