Wildfire Helmet

You will find this helmet just after flying into the temple. Missing it would
be hard even if you tried.

Wildfire Body Armor

Where: Pokitaru

Just before returning to where you started this level, you will have to make
a bridge appear, rising up from the sea. On the middle of this bridge, you
will find the body armor.

Wildfire Gloves
---------------
Where: Pokitaru

After clearing the enemies out of the cave where you learn about strafing,
you will find these gloves just outside. For your information, the enemies
in this cave were flying robots and spiders.

Wildfire Boots
--------------
Where: Kalidon

After going all the way to the lowest floor by using the circle formed
elevator, jump back up again after activating the console. The boots are
waiting for you at the top.

Slugde Mk. 9 Helmet
-------------------
Where: Metalis

Win the 'Nigh Impossible' Clank Challenge on Metalis. Even tough the name makes
the challenge sound hard, it's not any harder than the first gadgebot survival
Clank Challenges.

Sludge Mk. 9 Body Armor
-----------------------
Where: Kalidon

You get this after defeating the boss in the factory, you will find this armor.
The boss is named Mungo, by the way.

Sludge Mk. 9 Gloves
-------------------
Where: Kalidon Skyboard Race

Win the Master's Challenge skyboard race. You need to finish at first place, so
go practice skyboarding before trying this.

Sludge Mk. 9 Boots
------------------
Where: Ryllus

When you've found and planted the first mimic plant, turn around, and send it
flying into the mountain wall behind you. Inside, there are some boots for you.

Crystallix Helmet

Where: Metalis

This helmet is a reward for winning the Clank Challenge on Metalis named
'Smasherbot's Revenge'.

Crystallix Body Armor
---------------------
Where: Dreamtime

At the end of Dreamtime, you will run into Giant Clank. Avoid him for a little
while, until the battle ends and you receive the armor.

Crystallix Gloves

Where: Metalis

Win The Uber Finals Clank Challenge on Metalis to get the Crystallix Gloves.
The Uber Finals is the last Gadgebot toss game on Metalis.

Crystallix Boots

Where: Medical Outpost Omega

After the countdown timer has started running, you will find the Crystallix
Boots. Just like many other armor pieces, missing it is close to impossible.

Electroshock Helmet
-------------------
Where: Challax

Beat the Dropship boss at the end of Challax to get this helmet. Don't try
jumping over the gap between you and the armor during the battle, as you can't
reach it until after the battle, when a bridge appears.

Electroshock Body Armor
-----------------------
Where: In space, after arriving at Challax

After arriving at the planet Challax and choosing to 'Smash the Technomite
Orbital Facilities', Clank transforms, and starts flying into space. Beat
the Technomite Dreadnaught mini-boss to get the armor.

Electroshock Gloves
-------------------
Where: In space, after arriving at Metalis

After Clank has arrived at Metalis for the first time, he will transform into
Giant Clank and fly into space. In the walkthrough, I've called this part of
the game 'Flying Through Space As Giant Clank Part I'. Beat the Technomite
Dreadnaught mini-boss to get the electroshock gloves.

Electroshock Boots

Where: Medical Outpost Omega

On Medical Outpost Omega, you will have to beat the fourth Skyboarder race,
named Vertigo. The boots are your reward for winning the race.

Mega-Bomb Helmet

Where: Dayni Moon

At the top of the ledge close to the silo building, this helmet will be waiting
for you. This is one of those hard-to-miss armor pieces.

At the end of the level, just before escaping through Clank's mouth, this
body armor is waiting for you.

In the Clank Challenges on Dayni Moon, win the one named 'The
Ultimate Showdown' to get these gloves.

Improbability' to get these boots.

Hyperborean Helmet

After shooting a bomb flower at the huge statue of Otto, walk to the top of the
statue to find this helmet.

Where: Dreamtime (Challenge Mode)

In challenge mode, you'll find the Hyperborean Body Armor in front of the
airpad where Ratchets spaceship is located, before it disappears.

Hyperborean Gloves

Where: Pokitaru (Challenge Mode)

In challenge mode, walk up to the wire just above the magnetic track. This
is just right of where you found the first Titanium Bolt at Pokitaru.

Hyperborean Boots

The Hyperborean Boots can be found on the platform outside of the Temple
on Ryllus - in challenge mode.

Chameleon Helmet

Where: Inside Clank (2nd time in Challenge Mode)

This helmet can be found just in front of you, at the beginning of the level.

Chameleon Body Armor

Where: Kalidon (2nd time in Challenge Mode)

Win the boss battle against Mungo to get the Chameleon Body Armor.

Where: Medical Outpost Omega (2nd time in Challenge Mode)

Just before the final room where Ratchet's spaceship is waiting, there is a
section where you will have to wall jump between two blue walls. At the top,
you will find the Chameleon Gloves.

Chameleon Boots

Where: Pokitaru (2nd time in Challenge Mode)

After the part with the platform that takes you around to the various holms,
you will find some platforms. The boots are on the platform in the middle.

| Ability: Just like the sludge set, you take less damage when hit by |
| projectiles. Jump and swing your wrench to make some ice |

| Ability: With this set you can freeze enemies using your wrench. |

| instead of cold. Jump and swing your wrench to make an electric |

| Ability: This set absorbs the energy from enemy attacks. When the armor |
| starts gloving, use the wrench to unleash all the stored energy.|

| Ability: The Chameleon Armor makes Ratchet almost invisible, making it |
| hard for the enemies to hit him. The result is that most of |
| them will shoot or attack a location Ratchet was at several |
| moments ago. |

| Armor Pieces: Mega-Bomb Helmet, Mega-Bomb Body Armor, Wildfire Gloves, |

| Ability: With this armor equipped, try hitting some enemies with |
| your wrench. On the third hit, the wrench gets so hot |
| that a huge fireball appears,giving nearby enemies a |
| hard time surviving. |

| Ability: To generate a protective barrier made of crystals, |
