They have to say something.
Heart felt or worthy of being first.
But really it's just a selection of moments.

It can be about pain, it can be about love.
Any moments that stain your life.
It can be the past hour of the day.
They have to speak something of importance.
To make the line and the way.
But there is nothing I can say.

Insanity, my experience (truth)

You can't escape.
The walls are closing in.
And the windows are growing darker.
As your skin crawls away.

It echo's as you scream.
Peeling the paint from the walls.
It's the emptiness of the knowing.
That outside that door nothing awaits.
It's the ghost in the shell that haunts.
Underneath these thoughts.

*When you look in to that mirror
and it starts to crack.
you feel like screaming to erase the scars
but they won't go away
as the glass shatters, as the tears fall
you will know there is nothing.
Awaiting you outside that door.*
