Hm, I came here to post some poetry but it looks like most people use this place for intro's, so why not I that eh?

I enjoy writing but I'm not inspired enough to do it often. Usually when I'm feeling low and need some sort of output. I get absorbed into other things with computer work, which makes creative writing [artistic things like that] seem a bit clunky and passé. I'm a jaded fella like that.

I'll make a thread, that's the advice I've heard. I just want to hear what you guys say about the things I do.

Anyways, I have no idea whether I've posted my novel in this thread or not so excuse me if I did ;-; My novel is called Bloodthirst (though it may or may not be a temporary title, not too sure yet). It's also a fan fiction of both the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and the video game, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody.

It follows the story of a girl named Harlow who comes to Flowerbud town for the ranch plan that was advertised in the newspaper. She arrives in town, but she is able to see the Harvest Sprites, meaning it's up to her to resurrect a goddess with musical notes (if you know the game you'll understand it better ).

Harlow falls in love with the town's doctor-in-training, Alex, and they soon fall into a relationship together. Not too long after that, Harlow discovers her farming rival, Jamie, is a vampire. Though most would leave town after discovering there's a vampire there, Harlow stays, and is completely fine with that fact.

Eventually, more vampires come into Flowerbud, and Harlow ends up befriending a few. Through all of this, Jamie becomes a bit jealous of Harlow and how her farm is becoming more successful than his as the story progresses. Some posts in the thread are in Jamie's point of view, though the rest is in Harlow's.

I would give away more, but sadly, I'm not at that part yet. It's currently nearing 70,000 words, and I'm aming for about 90,000 when it will be complete. I'm about 49/100% done. Comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated as I MIGHT plan a second draft, but I'm still deciding. XD

I'm really pleased with my latest poem; Miracle Dance
It turned out exactly as I wanted it, and strange and saddening journey into a troubled mind through dreams.

I'm planning a short story. Not entirely sure about what yet.

Scratch that, I just wrote it, based from my poem.
