i cant get my tamer lvl up and its really starting to piss me off. does anyone have any tips to help me lvl it up????[b][/b]

There are three primary methods of increasing your Tamer Level.

#1: Acquire an Ultimate or Mega Digimon naturally.
#2: Defeat the final Boss.
#3: Meet certain specifications and criteria when acquiring a natural Champion Digimon.

Raise a rookie to a champion with no care mistakes for a tamer level increase

Hey! I raise digimon with no care mistakes and I do not get a tamer lever increase!!!

Other method to raise your tamer level is (in NTSC version at least) by winning some Greymon's tournaments (if I remember well, Tamer Level goes up when you win a Grade Tournament for the first time or another type of tournament, also for the first time only, this means two possibilities to raise your tamer level).

A Care mistake is defined as any of these:

-Not feeding them (until the symbol has gone away)
-Not letting them go to the toilet (until they go on the floor)
-Not letting them sleep (until the symbol has gone away)
-Getting them Tired
-Getting them Ill
-Getting them Injured
-Battling when they are hungry, needing the toilet, sleepy, tired, ill or injured.

Are you sure you did none of these? I didn't know about the last one until I read a guide...that was why my tamer level didn't increase!

The requirement for increasing your Tamer Level during the Rookie-Champion Digivolution Process is unknown. It is possible to achieve it while still making Care Mistakes.

Now that you mention it...while trying to get Greymon (a long time ago, I understand how to get him now) when my digimon digivolved my tamer level went up with some, but not others. Maybe you have to fulfill absolutely everything? (bonus conditions and everything)

I have a doubt about care mistakes: Does getting your digimon tired (drop icon) represent a care mistake OR the care mistake means to TRAIN OR BATTLE WHEN IT IS TIRED? I always thought the first idea was the correct one, but now I am in doubt...

It would be very interesting if someone could clarify if getting tired constitutes a care mistake, or it is when you train being tired, or battle being tired, or, as Morgan just said, it is when you gain 1 stat point in your training.

In my opinion, taking in account that the digimon loses happiness and discipline in the exact moment when it shows the drop over his head, I assume that the care mistake occurs right there, and training for ten consecutive hours without feeding sirloins should be avoided in orden to prevent the digimon to have a very high tiredness!

Hey guys, i'm back! there is another way to avoid tiredness! it is very useful as well. After training in 9 consecutive times go to the clinic and rest for 2 hrs, repeat. Also, to get higher tamer level as in the topic, it's easy. I'm a Legend (tamer level 10). You just keep raising ultimates naturally. How? for most champions, get stats to 4000hp/mp 400 all else. If that fails, get sukamon when u r in an intraining state or feed a champion a chain melon. If you win the S Cup in the Arena, the tamer level also increases.

I have been noticing that getting your digimon tired drastically decreases its lifespan... It's a primary conclusion, but everything tends to confirmate that hypothesis...
I had Monzaemon and the previous Numemon (natural digivolution!) got tired often... and at the age of 17 Monzaemon died, when normally they tend to last until the age of 19... :S
