[Game] Battle of the Titans

Magnificently great good morning to everyone! This here is the new game I was talking about earlier. Actually, I said it would be similar to Hurt & Heal, but that's not right... this is a heavily evolved version of it, and has almost no similarity at all to the previous game. But let's not discuss that; let's get started with the game!

So basically, a player will choose a Digimon of their own personal preference and assume its role. Then they will be given an amount of points they can use in their own liking. Let me explain:

Amount of points: 200 - the maximum amount to spend. These will be split and then multiplied between HP, and the attack powers of three attacks

Level: 0 - This is the level, which is determined by the amount of victories a player has. The level is here to keep things under some kind of control, but it should not be stressed about.

Let's assume that HP is 90. That leaves us 110 points to distribute between the power of attacks;

Attack #1: 25 - the power of the first attack. The first technique can be used without limitation, but it must be the weakest.
Attack #2: 35 - Power of the second technique. It has a short countdown, and it must be the second most powerful.
Attack #3: 50 - This would be the finisher, and it must be the strongest attack. It has the longest countdown, though.

Attack #2 has a countdown of exactly one turn, and the finisher has a countdown of three turns. The names of the attacks will depend on the Digimon they have chosen.

Multipliers
In a recent note, it was wisely suggested that the actual HP and attack power are multiplied with individual multipliers. Therefore, I have devised an effective way to prolong fights. Here they are:

HP will be multiplied by 10x.

Attack #1 will be multiplied by 2x.
Attack #2 will be multiplied by 3x.
Attack #3 will be multiplied by 5x.

Once the player has decided how to distribute their points, they are ready to challenge another player. The first one to run out of HP is, naturally, the loser.
The Winner will level up, and thus receives 10 extra points to distribute between HP and attacks.
The Loser will not gain anything; not even a penalty! The loser can challenge another player and try again. Simple!


Alright, here's an example on point distribution and working multipliers:

Digimon: MasterTyrannomon

HP: 1000 (100 points)

Hyper Heat Blast: 30 (15 points)
Master Claw: 90 (30 points)
Master Fire: 275 (55 points)

So, Master Claw can only be used every other turn, and Master Fire every three turns.

Everytime a challenge is initiated, both players must post their Digimon and its stats. (Level, HP, and attacks)

When a player takes action, this is the proper form to do it in:

Attack: Master Claw (90)

After that, the opponent will post their remaining HP and action, and so on. That's how the game basically works.

Status Effects

There will be random trivia questions regarding Digimon every once in a while. The first one to answer it correct receives a status effect that will give him/her a very big advantage. Naturally, the questions are going to be at least moderately difficult.



Rules:

1. The range of Digimon available to choose is unrestricted!
2. If a player challenges another player who is more than three levels below their level, the stronger player must wait longer to use the finisher. For example, if the opponent is 5 levels below, then the countdown for a finisher is 5 turns. This does not apply to the weaker player; their countdown will remain the same, which is three turns. This prevents one player from dominating the entire game.
3. If you challenge a player, you must wait for him/her to respond (take you on) before you can attack.
4. If both players are on the same level, the challenger gets the first attack. If not, the weaker player will strike first.
5. Notify your opponent when you take action, just in case someone forgets who they're fighting. In a similar manner, notify me about a victory just so I remember to update the scoreboard immediately.
6. To find out what your Digimon's three signature techniques are, refer to the Digimon Wiki. If the Digimon doesn't have three, take one from the technique chart in DW1.
7. You cannot change Digimon once you've made your choice.

Okay, I read the rules. May I make a suggestion? Perhaps to make the fights last longer there should be multipliers? For eg, HP = the number of points you assign to it multiplied by 10. Maybe something similar with the attacks. Example:
Atk 1 = No. of points
Atk 2 = No. of points X 1.5
Atk 3 = No. of points X 2

Now, obviously the multipliers I used might be a bit off. The reason I think multipliers would help is because someone could use their points like this:

HP: 90
Atk 1: 35
Atk 2: 37
Atk 3: 38

As you can see, I have only made my Digimons other attacks barely stronger, and so I can heavily abuse the power of the first attack.

Sounds like an interesting idea. Do you mean that someone asks a question and anyone who isn't in the same battle can answer it?

Oh yes, that's something I meant to ask. Are there any restrictions on the type of Digimon we can use? As in, does it matter if one person wants to play as a Mega and someone else wants to be a Rookie?
