He's ok, but I wouldn't rely on him to get you many of goals, he gets a few assists but I'd go for someone more like PCY or Obinna

berbatov is awesome too, but you have to pay alot to get him, also, look in the free transfers at the end of the season, you normally find some really good strikers in there for nothing!

look for serginho, if he has regenerated, he should be reching his peak again by now, and he was one hell of a player last time i had him, but he was 35 and had no stamina left,trust me, serginho!!

question--I know this is difficult b/c players retire at different ages, and youth players come in at different times, but I wondered if anybody might have some advice.

I just started 2018 season, all youths have already come in, and all fullbacks came in pretty early, so all the decent players (Postma, Hoffman, etc.) have already peaked.

All four of my fullbacks are all 30-32, none have started declining yet, but probably won't be long.

Wondering if anyone had any good experiences with some regens that I might be able to look at, and or how long they last.

I've been contemplating trading Mehmet Sedef for Roberto Carlos (age 24), but the stats are still in my favor by a mile. Babayoro just regenerated, but I looked at his curve and it doesn't look too impressive. So there you have it, any thoughts/advice will be appreciated.

i dont usually bother with youth players, unless theyre stats are really good already. i only usually buy players that are ready for my first team. i usually jsut search for good players on the cheap, and then if need be i can sell them for a profit but thats just my way

zeigler gets really good first time round, he starts to really improve around 24, he can play left back or midfield too

Yeah I thought about Ziegler from the beginning, he looked good. If i'm doing my math right I think he should be about 32 in my ML, which is too old for me.

I'm like you, I typically try not to buy too young, but right now there's a serious gap in talent between my two players and what's available, so I'm going to have to build from the ground up.

After I posted earlier I remembered that Chivu just retired, so he'll come back in midseason, Mathieu is 38 I think, so there's some talent getting ready to come back in, I'll just have to be patient I guess

On a sidenote--what's the oldest player you've seen in your ML? Crespo is still playing @ 43. Previously I'd seen Chiesa get to 41.

Iv heard that Roberto Carlos is really good as a regen. And id say look out for Zambrotta, he should be getting good.

Or maybe Schweinsteiger regen? Hes good at RB, and you can train him how you want him to play as well

Roberto Carlos is immense, honest to god he will be the best left back u have ever HAD his stats are better than some strikers, Maldini is also very good left back at around 2019/2020 and he peaks at like .... 40 . Javier Zannetti is also good very strong for a short guy
