Yeah I will indeed, my max drive will be on the way this month so I will have the evidence to prove .

It is a definitely an unusual skill which I have personally never seen before.

Well I used my Max Drive only for the second time as I accidently deleted an option file I downloaded. Put the PES disk in, there was no option file so I went onto the memory card and to my horror all my save files were corrupted. Now I can't save or load on that memory card. Never using a Max Drive again. I might stick it on eBay. Anyone interested before I think about doing so?
Yep, maxdrives do this all the god damn time . You can format your card by holding square when you hover over it in 'my devices' when you have the maxdrive disk in the console. You lose your saves, but at least your card is useable again.

I know i have probably said it before but thanks for the guide TVI, the shot guide has inparticular helped me recently. Means i play with alot more flair now and have come close to scoring some beautys. Hit the bar twice with those L1 long range chips and also put it inches wide with the Del Piero super curler chip a couple of times.

I'm sure i will score some of them soon though...

Cheers .

The secret chip is such a useful move to have in your arsenal, but the Del Piero chip is more of a party piece in that its really difficult to score.

Hey TVI, when I try the R1 thing when the ball is coming for your chest in mid-air to make it go higher up to help you out for an overhead, and I can't catch onto it.

Any other tips for it?

re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

If you do super cancel (R1 + R2) you can manually move your player into the correct position so you can attempt the over head. It is definitely a hard technique to master.

Sometimes it is just pure luck that your player overheads it normally in the air without chesting. In other situations they could have just headed it

Yeah when I try the super cancel, my player just runs from the ball

I never scored an overhead on the game.

Most attempts of the Del Piero chip have ended up either in the keepers arms or miles wide of goal for me, once Henry ended up just kicking it really high in the air for me and let it drop then scissor kicked it in. Bit of a fluke but i claimed i ment it when i showed my mate.

Yeah, it takes quite a bit of practice to get used to how players move when they are under your control in super cancel mode. Its well worth mastering though, since super cancel can be used in so many different situations (positioning, body checking players off the ball, intercepting passes, trapping the ball from funny directions etc etc).

AADW: Haha, that sounds cool . I've heard of people doing a flukey kick the ball straight in the air glitch a few times, but never done it myself .
