re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

I made it I made it I made it!!!

remember this strange thingy (dragback cross) computer done onto me? I can do it now!

It's not that difficult after all (like all great inventions ) you do it like dragback, but you must add cross (L1+o on my settings) to the second part. So it is R2+dpad back then immidietly dpad 135 degrees to the better foot+L1+o

The required player skills and positions not yet checked, but I don't think there will be any

I put it on the video together with some extra things you can do from stationary position on the wing - try pushing dpad back then immidietly cross, high pass or shot (you must start before he starts turnover) - player will perform a shot etc. with the weak foot.

dragback cross

Did I make it to the tutorial at last?

Nice work mate, some great stuff there . I'll have to give those a try.

I've been trying to score one of your new secret lobs in an actual match for so long now, but they never come off for me .

I'll use the last reserved post in the thread starter to put all your new moves, as well as add them to the main sections .

Got a new moves section now. You like the names I've given them Maddeth ? I particularly like the Russian Roulette one .

Some really inventive stuff in there. I'm going to give all of the new moves a try, but the only ones I've even come close to pulling off so far are the zidane turns, and those were completely by accident. Btw, what's up with the funky polish music in the background?

The video's are Maddeth's, so no idea .

I've done the Zidane turns quite a few times by accident, but I find them really hard. It'd be cool to do them while moving, using the quick multistepovers technique.

re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

new page is great, and so are the names TVI

I have to say I did slice lob some times in online groupgames, but never came close to scoring off course

to be honest russian rulette is not my credit - it was posted somewhere here in the thread, I just tried it out and made a video

by the way - try out combinations of zidane or cruyff turns with immidiet cross - it looks like figure skating

and what's wrong with my music?

Ah right, I better alter that on the Russian Roulette then .

The only moves on the game I can't do effectively are v feints and zidane turns, and I don't think that can be a coincidence. Maybe I should invest in a new controller incase my dpad is buckled (thats probably from the hours spent perfecting inside outside variations ).

re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

I have some chip volley news. The good news is that I scored a stretching R1 chip volley with Mista of Atletico Madrid last month, and it's the second-last goal in my new compilation:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0H-cGlS2Us
http://files.filefront.com/WE07+August+2007+GOTM+goals/;8437562;/fileinfo.html

The bad news is that the computer scored an unbelievable proper L1 chip volley against me and I was all set to save it and make a big video, but then it was ruled offside. I was sitting there swearing about how unfair it was for the computer to a score a goal in PES 6 that I can't, and then the offside cut scene started playing.

hah, I saw an awesome move today on youtube

I wonder how it's done, and I don't think it's a bug (but could be...?) the autor seems not to know

yet another holy grail for training mode?

Maddeth: Yeah, thats just a bug, its happened to me a couple of times. The ball just goes straight up in the air when you go to play it, but I have no idea what causes it to happen.

Fenaro: Nice compilation, some great stuff in there . That Mista goal was really nice, shame its not the sort of goal anyone who wasn't a bit of a tricks know-it-all would appreciate .

Thanks TVI. I know just what you mean.

Do any of you guys have tips on how to score with those sideways jump volleys? I think I have only scored one goal with them in WE 2007 and PES 6. I just cannot keep the ball down no matter what I do.... usually I send the damn thing into orbit.

The type of volley I'm talking about is the second goal in this short vid:

re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

Yeah, I usually struggle to keep them down too. They're even harder when you hit them first time too .

From what I've experienced, the timing is virtually impossible. If you hit them very, very late so that your player is over the ball then they sometimes stay on target.
