Been trying the new secret chip, and found another variant of it . If your player hits it with his weaker foot rather than the outside of his stronger one, he does a very strange shooting animation I've never seen before. It sort of involves him stubbing his foot into the ground as if he was doing a chip, but he still uses the laces of his boot. It happens about once every 100 with the secret chips though, so its pretty difficult .

thanks, I've hoped you'd like it :] and I totally agree with the opinion about Feanor's stepover!
Now for the paperwork
Marseille pass works for me about 50% of the time, and I think that there is a higher chance the player will use the ball. I press 3 direction keys on right analog stick (I use keyboard...) and immidietly after that, pass (the direction of the pass is almost random) or manual pass (most of the times he will pass in the direction of last key pressed) I can't say I have it completely worked out :/
about all the combinations with 135 turn, I found them out after reading about that zidane turn (135+135) in a piggyback or a fanzine (i'm not sure - it was "one page free" pdf), just sorted out what you can do more. They're easy, need a good dribbler and do 135 turn on the better foot just after stopping. Zidane turn works always with players like zizou, robben, messi, ronnie, but that "thing" that ronaldinho does on my movie - turning and turning and turning, I didn't find anyone else who can do it (robben i.e. can do two turns and "looses" it). And it's not like every stop-the-ball makes the situation - the ball can't be to close or to far. So I don't have a 100% solution here as well
This secret-outside-chip-volley is context-sensitive, but i prefer it from the above because it works always when you do it right...I think Even did it three times in my groupgames so far (as ball center), maybe someday I will score First, you can use all players but ronnie, robben, messi etc they ball control is to hi (but I can be wrong - maybe they have other conditions). You can use Essien, Zurawski etc. You have to be in the right angle as in the vids (same place as the superaccurate chipshot, but you can be either closer or further to the goal), and side of the pitch (right for right-footed player) Easiest way to explain it is when you run along the sideline make r1 stop, turn 180, then immidietly turn right (to the middle of the pitch). The player will start to the the clumsy turn - immidietly press L1+[], aiming with dpad to the far post, and voilla! It's it. There are other ways to create this situation, but maybe I'll just do the video guide later this week

I did it with Henry, so maybe high control players can do it. I found I could do it with everyone I tried tbh.
The best way to do it I found was, like you said, run at 180 degrees to the final direction you need to face, and then turn 90, and then the other 90 and immediate try the chip. If you run at 90 degrees to the final direction you need to face, often your turn will not be clumsy enough to pull the trick off. It has to be the clumsy animation, not the immediate, sharp turn. I found you can do it anywhere in the specific side of the pitch (ie, the side that corresponds with the player's stronger foot). I wanted to do a Quaresma cutback followed by one, but then I realised that my player would be on the wrong side of the pitch to do the chip . I tried some other variations on it too, but it requires that clumsy last 90 degree turn, which kind of limits the combos you can do with it.
Do you have any ideas?

I'm still not sure what about this variation with weaker foot, maybe I saw it and didn't take notice? i suppose you can't make a vid?

No, I didn't save the replays when I did it (I managed it twice). I will next time though .
I found it easier to do with Henry than with a lot of other players TBH .

had to create an account:)
still can't do "my" shot with henry:( but it's as I said - with weaker players I can do it quite easily. how to try with stronger now...
i tried to do what you did, is it this?

btw. that's why I love training mode
EDIT: I did secret-outside-chip with Henry bad on HIGH fit (red arrow). Did you do it on normal fit?

Yeah, that was the animation. Weird eh?
I've been using Henry on red form, shouldn't make that much difference though surely, if any player can do it . I'll investigate...

I'm on a run of bad luck with free kicks now, not that I hadn't been all year, but I keep on hitting the crossbar and post with any player, whether it's 20 or 40 yards out. I cracked the bar with Roberto Carlos from miles out, I was disappointed it didn't go in.

i just did a really cool chip shot with van persie.it was quite weird.i was trying to the chip shot youre talkig about where you ran back and forwards and the player loses control of the ball and you do a chip shot but i accidently did a drag-back and then pressed l1 and square together and van persie did an outside foot chip with loads a spin. maybe this is a well known thing but ithink its pretty cool.

Haha, thats awesome . Its weird that you can do the secret chip after a dragback though. Does that happen often?

And the finish isn't too bad, either.
