Is it possible to do a chip shot on the volley?

Mike Harvey managed one on the half volley for the March GOTM, but I've never managed one myself - spent ages trying too .

I cant see why it wouldnt be. If you look at mikeharveys effort from the March GOTM scored by Kaka.

From that, id say that there is no reason that he couldnt have done it if it was a volley instead of a half

I don't suppose there's a thread like this for PES5 on the PS2 is there please?? As I no longer have PES6 and didn't get the chance to use the skills/tricks etc.

Thanks.

It is possible, I've had to face the gloating after it was done to me and a friend in 2v2.

It was in PES 5 and I'm sure it is in PES 6, but it'll be harder since the L1 + /\ pass doesn't work the same way.

Fast forward to the Shevchenko goal at 2:12 to see a PES 5 L1 chip volley:

Hello gentlemen, it's me again, thanks for your answers!
I've tried that kick cancel to v-feint thingy and it's not THAT difficult - speaking of training circumstances, not the game though (imagine that...)

(I hope I didn't miss someone already posting it done)

Now, more about my favourite chip trap. You've written in tutorial TVI, that this can be done when the ball is moving ALONG the ground. Maybe I didn't understood You correctly, but as I checked now, you can also do it from a high pass (cross, whatever). Now that is REALLY difficult, because you have to stand still AND in the right place - where the ball is supposed to touch the ground. Moreover - even players with good ball control will not always do it,they can even miss it. But if they do, it can go quite high

Cheers

Excuse my double posting, but I can't post 3 URL's

And least but not last, do you think kick cancel trap ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-dsKH2lbIM ) is a "move"? I like the subtle beauty of faking the shot with one leg and traping it with the other;)

Nice, very nice move.

The chip trap can't be done while the player or the ball is on the move (I don't think so at least, not really tried it too extensively). Sometimes the player will control the ball badly in a way that makes it look like he has done this move and this can sometimes happen on the move (often leading to some opportunities to score very cool goals), but its not the move itself.

I'll have a go at the chip trap after the lobbed pass though, sounds cool. Does the ball go especially high or anything like that?

I might put the kick cancel feint as a move, and offer some of the variations you can do with the kick cancel itself (like V-feint, Cruyff turn etc). I'll try and do it after my exams finish .

Also, a question for Xpronic: Do you reckon its worth doing the match moves videos? And have you still got all those replays I sent you ages back?
