It would, except that you can only do it on the left with Quaresma .

re: Tricks, Skills and Freekicks Tutorial Thread #2

Some notes regarding "Quaresma Cutback"

1. I have discovered that the only players who can do the move other than Quaresma are players who can do rabona.

2. On figuring this out I remembered that Yeste and Messi were left footed and I wondered if could perform the move on the other side of the D.
I hastened to the training ground and tried out the move.
The results were bad as both Messi and Yeste failed to carry out the move perfectly. They would try but would never be able to get it out of their feet.

3. I came to the realisation that Quaresma is the only player who can do it right. I thought to myself "How can I score a goal like he did against Belgium?"
Then it came to me, Why not change Quaresmas good foot from right to left. I whizzed through edit mode and edited the player. On the way back to the training ground I thought to myself " I am making PES history "

4. The session began and Quaresma flew down the wing I let go pressed R2 and......... Pes 6 has encountered an error and must close. Not to worry I thought it must be just Kitserver. I loaded up again but got the same results.

The game would not let me perform the move with a left footed Quaresma.
Is it a conspiracy?

Wow, thats proper weird . I'll try it on PS2.

Though, if you did change his dominant foot to left he'll hit the ball with his left foot rather than the outside of his right (unless perhaps if you change his WFF to 8).

However, having said that, the shot looked more like the Del Piero chip animation but with the outside of the foot, so I don't know if it would ever be possible to completely recreate it. You could overwrite Del Piero I suppose, make him left footed and give him all of Quaresma's stats...

No I dont think that would work because I think it is what you call a hard coded trick. On the point of the game crashing though it does not happen on PS2 as I just tried it on my friends one.

Exactly, thats why I said to overwrite Del Piero . Thinking about it now though, making the WFF 8 would mean he couldn't do the rabona, and hence couldn't do the cut back (which isn't a hard-coded trick).

Omg I'm embarrassed to say I haven't scored an Adebayor flick or the Rabona on this game.

Is that bad?

Whats an Adebayor flick?

Rabona's are the sort of trick that are easy to score if you are specifically trying too, but pretty much never happen in general play.

When like the player is at the side of the goal and he just flicks it.

It's normally a pass too.

Well done.

Oh I remember my first free kick on the Xbox, so special, Martin Petrov put it top right corner, couldn't have placed it any better without hitting the bar or the post, it was really special because me and my Dad had a little bet to who'd score the first free on the Xbox and it was against him, he was going mad.
