TVI--what difference does it make when you play a one-sided player on the opposite side? I'm wondering b/c I do that frequently, especially in the SMF and WF roles. Do they get a stat decrease, etc?

I tend not to do that for SB b/c I rely on them solely for crosses, but my SMF/WF's I tend to dribble in and shoot more than cross, and I have found that a left-footed player will frequently shoot wide with their left from an angle/timing that obviously calls for a right-footed shot and send it wide almost every time, same with right-footed player on the right.

I may need to rethink switching sides if they receive a stat decrease or something.

Yep, they just get the stat decrease like you said.

It doesnt make any difference at all, its just a tiny mistake KONAMI made. They should have given every player that can only play in the center of the pitch "Both sides", Like they have done for al the non- ML Youth players.

I wish I could do screen shots, etc. I've got a couple of youths (Perrin & Guegan) that aren't on the list yet that by their special abilities/development curves probably should be. They're both are defenders, have ability stars, curves that go to 88-90 range. I use both as subs and they've been playing well for me.

Probably going to have to drop Kaboul to get Perrin some more playing time though, unless I start doing better in some of the cups and getting more games.

Flip Flap--Gottwald looks like a stud, Barcelona always buy him up in my ML's and his stats seem to improve very well.

Does Khumalo play well, i've been tempted to buy him before but never have. If memory serves he's pretty fast?

Khumalo is fast and gets lots of goals but sruggles to get in the team with Schwarz and Orellano already up front.

Ive had Palmieri before he is a great defender from the start.

Got two more who go over 90
Prandini-uruguay forward with lasting curve
Buga-romanian who i imagine is a bugger to play against

Has anyone ever performed the rabona or anything with any youths, i just scored a great goal with Moulin (who i dont think is in the index but is great) using the rabona.

That's quite a list of youths, is that your current team??? Wow!

I've played with Palmeiri, he's awesome. He's my favorite defender out of the youths. Just amazing. I usually pair him with Fernandez (ML youth) in central defence, they make a great pairing after a year or two. I imagine Palmeiri and Bos would also be a formidable pairing, but I've never been able to get both of them on the same team:#

Thanks for the info on Khumalo. I've used Schwarz and Orellano before, I'm trying as much as possible to steer clear of youths that I've already used (some exceptions will be made, I had Kaiser for the first time on my last ML but only for a season or two, I'll probably try to pick him up again).

That's good news about Prandini as I just signed him last night. Going to try to work him and Carter into the squad, might have to sell Van Persie and/or Rodallega.

I like that Prandini has high teamwork, think he starts off with 78-79? Pretty high for a striker.

do ml youth players always follow the same curve or will it increase if they are played? I usually struggle to play these players as they weaken my team!
