Brilliant file guys. It's really sorted out a lot of the basic goalkeeping errors that often decided matches, and now you need more quality and less luck to win. A few people on other sites were complaining that made the game unrealitstic, but I don't really see how that theory stands up, as despite the stat boosts, GKs are hardly superhuman (I've scored 3 or 4 goals in a few of my matches already) and Petr Cech is still better than Maik Taylor (what more do you want?). The formation changes are great aswell (definitely the biggest improvement from my old OF). You tend to get more space all over the pitch, but particularly in midfield, so there's more of an opportunity to try a few new things. This doesn't make playing any easier, but it helps enormously in making it less repetitive (I'm used to getting stuck in a creative rut about 50mins into a match). Player movement also somehow seem more intelligent so linking a chain of passes in a tight space is a possibility at last (the high through ball is also very effective for me because of this). My favourite team at the moment is Valencia. David Silva in paricular is proving a lethal weapon and plays pretty much as he does in real life, and is a constant threat on the wing. Anyways, this OF has made me want to play the game until PES2008 release day so thanks alot.

Max drive is an USB memory, right? Can't you use a normally USB then?
If you have an Max Drive and put it in to your PS2 should you go there you check memory card or should you go in to the game and then look for it?

Noticed what must be an error in the newcomers section. Theres an American goalkeeper called J. Johnsen, but only has 50 for keeper skills. Looking at the rest of his stats, some of them look just right for a keeper, others look more like he's a winger or attacking mid-fielder.

Yeah, there's a few like that .

Its where we changed the stats, positions change but stats don't (like on pes4).
