The Old Willow Tree

I in forest but i dont have the willow whities! what the hell should i do?

I am having the same problem on my GBA. I have searched the whole forest and can not find the willow withes. I have looked at the walkthrough that said go south and to follow the path that "looks promising" but my character never says a path looks promising, only that we are walking around in circles. When i head south for several screens I come to the wishing well. The only thing i cna think to do is start over and not trade the willow withes you get earlier in the game for stick. I would appreciate any help. Thanks,

Sarah,you said you could find the willow withes..we are on the GBA..coud you tell us how to find them..we don't want to restart!

For GBA - From Tom Bombadil's house - go north (only direction availabe), then east, north again, then south (the direction you came from), then wander around (and yes, Frodo or Sam will say it "looks promising") you will find the willow withies here.
I do not know how to plant them yet

How odd...I come here for help and i end up answering my own question and that of others. Hmm...I wonder if there is a word for that? oh yes...Irony

Okay, I am stuck in a corner. I just found the willow-whithes(don't know how to spell it) and am verrrrrry happy. Just when I was about to go back into the area where the big tree is, Frodo got stuck in a corner !!! I've tried switchin chars.,droping items, but neither Frodo or Sam will move an inch!! Is the game frozen(it's brand new though)? Do I have to start over for the fifth time???NOT HAPPPPPPPPY.......

All you have to do, is at the begining of the game, if you go into one of the houses with the 3 book cases in the front room, take the coin and then save the game. and then continue the game and do it again and again.
