I used to play it in 2005 alot, especially at the beginning of the year. Now I hardly see it at any arcade.

should i get this game?
i've seen it in shops, dunno whether i should get it or not.
its a dream match, i know. any new stuff here? beside geese being the boss.

As you might have heard of, this is essencially KOF 2002 with three different gauges, and some characters were removed, others changed, and Saisyu returns.

The first gauge has a max of 3 stocks and work like you were in 2002's burst mode all the time, except each cancelling costs you 1 stock.

The second has the "Just Defend" effect. By blocking right when the enemy hits you, you won't be knocked back and your gauge will fill up a little. Also, all the characters get an enhaced body blow (hcf + CD) that is unblockable and makes the opponent ricochet on the wall. This costs 1 stock of a max of 2.

The third gauge has a max of 1 stock, but it refills automatically (faster if you hit the opponentwhile it charges).
It has a major issue, by not having the roll (you can safe fall, however). But in the other hand, all your attacks will do more damage, evend DMs. Robert's Ryuko Rambu will cause 40% damage. The SDM version will do 60%.

Some characters do more damage and others do less than 2002. King was somewhat fixed, but Vice in the third gauge is just evil. Air D, D, F+A > Decide deals 50% damage.

We lost Orochi Iori, Goenitz, Old Geese and K9999, but we got Saisyu, a non-broken King, non-broken Shingo, an heavily nerfed Omega Rugal and Young Geese.

Young Geese is the boss. While the CPU controls it, his moves deal massive damage and pretty much all his moves have invincibility or autoguard. His DM is like a unblockable Ryuko Rambu that cannot be evaded by rolling and deals 70% damage, his SDM is a grab move that deals 90% damage and he can follow up with his Reppuken (that deals 30% damage). His playable version is heavily nerfed, having no autoguard or invincibility on his moves and his DM is blockable.

Aside from that, we have a few stages and set BGMs for each stage.
