How do I get past the mission where you need to get past that flying contraption that drops laser units into the water? I have made a lot of attempts at trying to get past it but it keeps on hitting me with its laser and I can't kill it. any help please.

ummm what kind of aircraft do you mean ? if you mean the "Vogel Sumera" i suggest you to improve your ship's firepower and speed, acquire yourself at least nuclear reactor VII or higher,and put some steam turbine E and you may put forward thruster LV2 for extra boost, to finish that sucker from skies use at least 50,8cm gun (i use 75 caliber) or revolving guns (any caliber), and just a little trick, i will only shoot her when she pass overhead my ship ,or when she stop to fires her deadly tectonic reaction beam (her "Anima Awakening" attack)
to avoid this attack please move your ship sideways while keeping your weapons in range, she'll be easily finished ,i hope this hint helpful and sorry for my poor English
