aye what's your favourite weapon combo at the moment. I'm liking the aspect of lighting things on fire and using telekinesis to throw it at enemies

Obviously the game gives you many weapon combos and so I'm sensing minds will change over playing the game though nothing beats the electro-bolt + wrench combo

I go with the electrobolt / wrench combo. The original and best. Why? Because it involves my beloved wrench (bashing people to death FTW!) and a nice electric shock.

I tend to love that trick of shooting the electo-bolt at the water and then watching the idiots who are in the water die. I killed like 5 or 6 splicers with it the other day, there were 3 in the water and then the rest kept coming and kept dying. The great thing about this trick is they can't shoot you while they are dying.

i dont really use the fire plasmid much, its good for taking away health pretty quickly but it doesnt disable them in the way electrobolt does. i hardly use the wrench either, ive used it a couple of times but mainly just at the start of the game when it was my only defence.

i dont like using the winter blast plasmid either, its very effective, especially against houdini splicers, but once youve shattered them theres no corpse for you to search, and you gotta have corpses for money and ammo and whatnot.

i love the pistol, especially with the upgrade enabling it to be loaded with 24 bullets at a time. the armour piercing ammo is so valuable against big daddies. but my least fave gun has to be the machine gun. its harder to aim and it uses up your ammo very quickly, especially those precious anti-personnel bullets.

my fave combo has to be electrobolt followed up by a quick supply of lead from the shotgun into the face. i know its easier to use the electric buck but i always save them for big daddies.

aye after making this thread I played a little longer on the game and didn't realise big daddies respawned. I had been messing around with my plasmids, mainly telekinesis and incinerate just to see what I could do only to find myself stuck for EVE hypos and a big daddy behind me.

Previously I had wasted all my ammo just for the hell of it except my beloved shotgun and so the game began with me running backwards firing my shotgun while zig zagging around the columns to dodge his attacks. Safe to say I grabbed the EVE link upgrade and needed my first aid kits which gave me EVE again.

and so I finished him off with the incinerate on a corpse and telekinesis

Thank god I saved it before I did all that so I got a big daddy to kill later

hehe I just love telekinesis and throwing grenades back at their owners what a better way to mock an enemy...oh other than hypnotising a big daddy to be on your side

Since I've researched a lot of the splicers to damage +++ I like using the pistol or machine gun with anti-personnel rounds to take them out quick. The leadheads near the end of the game are a bitch to deal with even with damage +++.

Favorite plasmid would probably be electro bolt 3 or telekinesis.
