I want to know people's opinions, but which 'Big daddy' do you feel is better. Rosie or the Bouncer?

Me, personally adore the Bouncer. Theyhave the most awesome look to them. They are fast, hard hitting and have a drill for an arm. Come on, what's NOT to like? XD

I think you like him for the tickling aspect of that drill

which ones rosie? the one with the gun and grenades? ive met both but only beaten a bouncer. i started playing the game on friday but felt id gone through it a bit too fast and hadnt appreciated what id played through, so i started again and have just beaten the first big daddy you properly meet after defeating steinman.

I started palying last night, the part where you seen the splicer try to kill the little sister and then get totally brutalised by the big daddy is pretty awesome . Not fought one yet though.

yeah that was a cool bit, makes you think twice about fighting one.

the big daddy i beat last night was in the medical pavillion that connects to all the other medical places (surgery, dental, crematorium, etc). i beat him quite easily the first time, but i started the fight by shooting him while he was helping the little sister into that hole in the wall and even after shooting at him he carried on helping her into the hole before retaliating, and when id beaten him she was still in the wall so i couldnt get to her. beating him was all for nothing cos without access to the little sister you dont get anything from the fight. i reloaded the game to where id saved before fighting him (so i could have all the ammo, health kits and eve hypos back that id used while fighting him) and i found it really hard to beat him again, he kept rushing me and killing me and it took me like 5 tries to finally put him down for good. it became pretty frustrating but it was worth it after all the lovely adam i got in the end ... mmm, tasty.

just shows how tough big daddies are though, theyre mean mother*bleep*ers.

in that case i prefer the bouncers, the rosies look a bit more normal than them, sorta just like big divers. the bouncers look a bit weirder what with the multiple "eyes" in their helmets. gotta love the drill too.

Bouncer on all counts, Rosie can easily be dealt with with standard cover tactics. The intensity of the Bouncer fight on hard is reminiscent of HL2's Antlion Queens and has me "OH SHIT" out loud on multiple counts, not to mention the gorgeous visual and atmospheric effects when he bulldozes you 20 feet backwards into a wall and continues to hurtle into you at 50mph with his drill before the actor is recovered.

^I thought that this was extremely dramatized for the sake of the trailer and that it would never be as ferocious in-game, but I was wrong, it's even MORE intense.

Bouncer ofcourse looks better, with that awesome drill and its awesome shape helm =P Though both of them are easy to kill =D... Welll bouncers much easier

easy in the sense that a few shotgun rounds take them both down but like Jimmy says, Bouncer can use his drill to disorientate you...I also found that infact when he does it you tend to either fly towards him or fly away from him. Then of course he speeds right into you and whacks you with the drill.

Rosie's on the other hand has a gun and proximity mines. If you have telekinesis handy you can send a prox mine straight back then hide behind a corner for another to be thrown or suck it up and take the hits from the gun while taking chunks out of the big daddy

the bouncers charge can be easily dodged with good timing but i still find him the harder out of the 2. its easier to evade the one that shoots at you than the one who has to hunt you down and get close to attack.

Wow... You guys serious ... i guess its all about skills, i kinda suck killing Rosie, due to he really got a good aim on me even if snap peek while hiding..

For Bouncer, i pretty much just use Electric Bullet Shotgun, and just run back while facing him, if he does that Punch to the floor thing to make your movement slow, i'd just do sidestep =P. i never get hit by those bouncers =P
