What Is Your Weapon Of Choice?

Log in to remove this advertisement I would have to say that I use my DSLR. And I do have a small Canon Elph. But I only use that when I don't care what happens to the camera. My cellphone only has 5MP when most phones these days have an 8MP camera. So what is your means?  -------------------

For classes and professional use, I obviously use an SLR.  A Rebel T1i, but I'll most definitely be upgrading as soon as I can because it's not really a pro body.For snapshots and stuff like that, I usually just use my phone because it's got a decent camera and I can upload photos to FB and such right away. Also, I may or may not have a minor addiction to Instagram! haha -------------------  My memories will be part of the sky... | |

Narphinean, have you checked out the Canon EOS M? It's suppose to be at par with current DSLR's, with interchangeable lenses, with I think full manual to adjust for aperture, iso, and shutterspeed. For it's price, I'd say it would rival other mirrorless cameras. They even have the specs lined up against other competitive models.

Yeah, I'm curious how long it took them to create a decent camera without the single-lens reflex. I'm thinking of getting it to replace my old Powershot. My powershot is almost...shot. It's over 6 years old, too. So it's only around 8MP. With that $800 price tag, though, my girlfriend feels I could spend that on other lenses instead.

I only use my phone for quick snapshots- nothing that I would edit and put in my portfolio. For all other times I use my DSLR, a Nikon D40x. I used to have an SLR, can't remember exactly what it was, having a serious mind blank, but it broke and I no longer have access to a dark room
