Shit! I typed it up over a week ago but it didn't post??? Ill go home and reload it. I saved it as a template in a .txt.

I think we know he's human, no need to point that out. and I'm not bagging on him at all or anything, but ctrl has been saying that he'd post the results up for the last 2 weeks. Especially when he thought he did already and now all he has to do is just upload it..

Yeah I suffered from some head-trauma and got a concussion that gave me headaches to stare at a tv or laptop screen for too long. My apologies. Anyways, skadoosh!

Comments: I really like the depth of the over-all photo. Nothing in the background is really blurred which makes me think you either didn't use a Macro lense or were zoomed in to bring focus to one point. Even though the lily in the middle is the focal-point. I really like the the color and contrast.

Comments: I like the photo of the butterfly. I just wish the camera focused more on the butterfly than the wood it was on. The coloring is really nice and it really creates a difference between the foreground and the background.

Ari!!!! I really enjoyed the color and depth and color. So much so I almost wanted to call b.s. on it because how well it is. Don't worry I checked out your deviant art and now know better. But it's really well made. I don't even know areas around here that would give me the type of lighting and ability to make focal-points like this and sort of curious what lenses you used. Congratulations!

As for the color, it's a lucky mix of dirty water and good coloring on the lily pad. Adjusting the contrast brought out the aesthetic best in both of those. It was fairly close to a bridge, so I was treated with a great position for the shot. And you're right; I didn't use a macro lens. College has sort of been draining my camera equipment fund . I used the default 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor that came boxed with my D90. Thank you again, and I'm really glad you liked it!

Paranoid_Android; Thank you ! I took this picture in southern New Jersey; specifically, in the town of Browns Mills at Mirror Lake. They seem to grow in shallow water closer to land, so keep that in mind if you go hunting. Best of luck!
