Hello everyone, I have some exciting news to share! I just joined neoseeker to post it too!
So I, as with everyone, wanted to know the secret to getting good cards. I was in the 200 win area with no luck at a second red eyes from jono 2. now, I noticed that even though I was in a high win area, I still was getting cards I was receiving in the 20 wins area so I figured there's no way the spoils were just random. I came across this post and Chibinekodemyx's experiment intrigued me. He proved that there was in fact a system to this non sense, so I started experimenting as well, and came up with some awesome evidence.
Using game saves, I tested various combinations of wins against jono 2. The key to my results were finding relationships between actions and outcomes. I knew that if you could find similarities and reoccurances, they could be forced and repeated. Cutting to the chase, these are the factors for how the game determines your reward:
Factors:
1. Interaction of related guardian stars (ex. sun to moon)
2. Card destruction
3. Turns
From my tests, I have discovered these things are what determine your spoil. I have yet to determine what kind of guardian star interaction it looks at (such as particular guardian stars that have interacted, amount of interaction, or negative vs positive interaction) but I do know it will change the outcome every time. it also looks at card destruction in terms of how many you and your opponent have destroyed. And finally it looks at in how many turns all this occurs. For your information, here are factors I have discovered to not affect the spoil:
Non factors:
1. Direct attacks in terms of what monsters are attacking and in what order they are attacking
2. Interaction of non related guardian stars
3. Life point distribution
I am still experimenting and testing so these results are not complete but this is what I have discovered so far. As for what Chibinekodemyx said, there may indeed be specific requirements to achieve certain cards. What I have figured out here is what the requirements are dealing within. My next step is to achieve a red eyes from Jono 2 and try to duplicate my success. If I can, I will know what formula is required for a red eyes from jono 2. If I am successful or I discover any new information, I will post it here. I encourage everyone who is interested to test my theories here and see if they hold true in your experiences. I hope this helps.
Interesting. I might try this.
