making a database on fmr
|
Newer thread: http://neoseeker.com/forums/3085/t1614992-/Anyway, here's where i've set it up: http://fmr.shameen.info/Also, an iPhone version: http://fmr.shameen.info/iphone There's probably not many people who will use this, but it's pretty fun to set up. By the way, roughly how many cards have been confirmed that aren't on the hacked list? Is it a handful, or are more like several hundred? More info is on the homepage, on a rough percentage of how finished I think it's done. Edit: Jan 28, 11

My greatest wishes of luck for you, lagspike. You can check out some of the FAQs here on Neoseeker in regards of cards and their description, will save you time. Also, images would be deadly awesome .

Very few cards have been confirmed that aren't on the hacked lists. The only ones I consider confirmed are Shadow Spell from Seto 3rd S/A TEC, Winged Dragon #1 from Mai, and Mikazukinoyaiba from Atenza.

Over the past week:
I plan to put icons on each card with guardian stars, card types, and also the 'secondary' types like female and elf. Here's an example of what I want it to look like: There's no simple icon for the 'elf' type :/ Edit: Aug 26, 10

Just for you information, there are multiple arts for cards in the game. The Japanese version of YFM has "unedited" card art while the English version of YFM has edited card arts. I'd imagine that people would be more familiar with the English art though as some cards look completely different.
Also, there are multiple trading card arts for cards like Blue-eyes that aren't in the game so you may or may not want to keep your game on to make sure you are using the right card art.

I knew there are multiple card arts, but the censorship on the cards is new to me. I knew the anime was censored, and after looking through the list it doesn't look like any of the cards in FMR were completely redrawn except a few spell cards. The alternate arts are a bit cool, but I've only had the original sets (i've not played any new yugioh games)

^There are a large amount of cards in YFM and in the OCG overall whose art was edited. I can understand why you would just use the English ones. I was just lettin you know in case you weren't aware.

i think i'll use the 'uncensored' ones from japanese, but keep the english ones that were completely redrawn. it's probably best like that. Also thanks for the heads up, i only thought the 'rare' cards like Blue Eyes, Dark Magician and Summoned Skull had alternate arts. Edit: Jun 03, 10

OK, from now on i'll edit the top thread when i update the site, so I don't shamelessly bump that often (PS. Sorry for the double post ) Just found out that some of the data from the hacked lists went wrong somewhere and quite a lot of it is missing.
