cant really understand it. but from what i saw, it looked like he used a cheat device to see the opponent's hand. and that the opponent doesn't really have base ritual cards? so it must be impossible to win base ritual cards.

Never thought I'd see the day when "The game cheats" would be an acceptable excuse.

This is very interesting to me. Is it a coincidence that Nitemare's hand was full of cards that are some of his rare drops? It would have been nice to see him actually win the duel so we could see what card was dropped.
Back when I did emulator tests, it also puzzled me how the opponent played the cards in their hand. I determined the cards he had in his hand by writing down what card in his hand he played every turn. After seeing this, I can see why I was so puzzled -- they morph the cards in their hand.
I think that someone should try to get their hands on this code and mess with it to see if there is any correspondence with the cards shown in the opponent's hand with the card they drop.

the guy was speaking brazilian and i magnaged to decipher a little of what he was talking about, seems that the game swaps the first card of the enemy hand in concordance to what we have on our hands.

I wonder if the same thing happens when the COM's face down trap is activated.

Basically what he says in the video is that he always wandered why the stronger duelists always started with the strongest cards in their hands. Then he used CEP and a gameshark code to enable him to see his opponents hands. Thus he saw what is shown in the video.
But one thing still puzzles me. If the first card is the card that is morphed then why do the NPCs sometimes do not play the first card?
I guess this finally explained why nitemare, having a all-creature deck, doesn't have Higher Attack and Defense factors...

^I think that the cards shown in his video are related to the card that drops. Nitemare's ATK and DEF factors are where they should be with that BEUD deck he has. When you S-TEC him, his monsters get pretty weak (in the 1800 ATK/DEF range), which averages out to about 2300, which is usually about his ATK/DEF factor. quote Karimyo

I've been trying to find the code to show the opponent's hand but no success.
If anyone knows this code please post it or pm it to me

Take Low Meadow Mage for example, he will almost always start off with Sogen, still, it's not always the first card on his hand. Maybe the COM changes the most useless card into something useful, or maybe he has more than 3 Sogen's, and always start with one.

no Helltoast, the COM follows the 3 limit card rule.

no Helltoast, the COM follows the 3 limit card rule. Then this 'trick' probably changes the most useless card, I think, because, IIRC, he doesn't always pick the first card on his hand.
