	Log in to remove this sponsored message Hi all , i've recently been reading through the below posts and stuff and i took someone theory of ( because i use an emulator ) of saving it during the duel just before i win.. That did not change what card i won.. which was Turtle Tiger. However i did use raigeki to knock his cards off and win. that got my POW A Rank. The next time i decided to kock his cards off woth my monsters that got me POW S Rank and i won A 999,999 under 2000 monster so maybe to win rare cards we actually need to have a decent duel & play our cards a little more skilled then this magic shit. I have just S POWd. Heshin 2nd. Seto 3rd. Darknite. Nightmare. 20 Times each. the best cards i got were... Hieshin 2nd - Labyrinth Tank / Mystical Sand / Gaia The Fierce Night. Seto 3rd - B Dragon J KIng x 3 / Gaia Fierce Night Darknite - Baby Dragon Was the rarest card. Nightmare - Baby Dragon also. Edit: Jan 22, 09

	I've noticed that sometimes, winning in certain ways helps. For example, I couldn't get an Aqua Dragon from Heishin 1 to save my life... then, in campaign mode, I decided to only attack with 1 monster at a time(and therefore only attack his defending monster) until I had enough monsters on the field to wipe out all of his life points in 1 turn. That was the first time I ever did it against him, and it yielded... that's right, Aqua Dragon. I amazingly got rares from other duelists this way, too... Meadow Mage was nicer to me when I used the same technique Not to mention Rhaimuntdos(sp?) of the Red Sword from Kaiba on two separate occassions(normally I can only get that card on B-Pow, but with this, it was possible on S-Pow...) I also noticed that another pattern can yield good cards sometimes, too: 1st turn, monster + 2 equips, 2nd turn, another monster + 2 equips, and just a monster or whatever on the third(and winning) turn. The results are usually mixed, but I got my first Harpie's Pet Dragon, Kazeijin, and Flame Cerberus from Heishin 1 this way, and Lisark from Kaiba. Note that both these tricks usually result in S-Pow. But you don't have to use either of these to win some good cards from those duelists. I've gotten plenty of good cards from them just from regular S and A-Pows(and lots of them ). I have no idea what to say on Heishin 2nd though, I'v barely dueled him; I just kept beating on Heishin 1st cuz he's easier. And I think the card discarding trick might help to get some unconfirmed cards, like most say... I never got Sanga from Seto 3rd before, but on an S-Pow I discarded my entire hand on the winning turn, and it yielded Sanga. Meep? Oh, and I noticed something about DarkNite; if he starts giving you crappy cards, go and duel Seto 3rd a few times, and then go back to DarkNite, and he'll start giving you good(ish) cards again. I wonder if dueling them all in order in Free Duel would actually help? Yeah, I talk too much, huh? Edit: Jan 23, 09

	You certainly have some good luck there matey!! I wish i had some like you!! Although from time to time i win a super rare card and go nuts with it!!! HA HA HA!! Im not sure if this is true but apparently Ritual monsters are obtainable after making the rituals work?? Also that if you do campaign mode over and over everytime it increases your chances of good cards. I've also noticed in my game that Campaign gives out rarer cards then Free Duel?? Just my 5 secnts:)

	Well, DarkNite gave me Bickuribox on S-Pow once.. that was the rarest card I got from him. He gives lots of decent cards, but none that are really rare (except he's the only one that gave me Sword Arm of Dragon) We've heard lots of rumours/theories like that you have to beat the game a number of times to 'unlock' some cards. I thought that was a good theory, but I'm not sure about that now. And yes, you can get better/rarer cards in Campaign.

Pretty odd considering i lost against seto 3rd 14 times and then changed to darknite and won that!!

And this is werid but listen carefully... im think im starting to understand how to win rare cards easy!! I played Field magic FIRST which got me Queens Autumn Leaves. I re loaded it and played a monster which got my La Jynn mystical genie. Repeated the process but wasted my whole hand and played a monster and got judge man?? So think of that ?? I wonder how the game actually works!!

I wonder how the game actually works!! im pretty wasted so bear with me. ive done many tests learning how the game actually works. it seems that almost everything that changes any of the stats on the post duel screen changes the card you win (with the exception of face down plays, and probably a few others). so in theory, there might be a stat combination that wins rares more often. also, the opponents deck strength fluctuates each duel which also might cause differences in the card you get (you would need a very large sample to test this). its really complex and boring to try to figure out the game like the way you are thinking but it might be the best way (for everybody) to try to figure the game out. -------------------

I mean, I'm the kid who got Megamorph on his first S-Tec against Pegasus. Though some cards only come to me after lots of duels, so it's not just luck, but persistence, too. XD I tried my own theory last night too, and didn't get results much better than yours. Actually, I'd say you did better, because I don't have Yado Karu, oddly. However, I'm going to try it again, only go for S-Pow on everybody. That's what I was trying to do, actually, and the only person I DIDN'T get S-Pow on was Nitemare. And I did Duel Master K, too, just for kicks. You got Queen of Autumn Leaves from Kepura? Goodie, now I'll beat on him to get it It's one of the cards I'm missing. I don't think the theory of ritual monsters being winnable after you summon them is confirmed... but I wouldn't be surprised if you could win them after you've summoned ALL ritual cards, which no one has done so far(Chakra and Magician of Black Chaos have not been summoned by anyone, to my knowledge ) It's not unlikely that beating campaign mode over and over increases your chances... and as for better cards coming in campaign mode, I think that might be true. The problem with it is that, aside from Heishin 1, the low mages, and a few others(villager 1, both Jono's, Teana 2, anyone else I'm missing...?), you only face most of them once. So you'd either have to go thru campaign over and over to get to a certain duelist, or you just save right before said person and turn the game off if you're not satisfied with what you win. I don't think we'll ever be able to fully figure out how this game works. I've noticed that sometimes dueling very oddly can give you a good card, but not always... so either we experiment with various weird dueling styles or we just hope we have luck. @ DarkSonic: Bickuribox from DarkNite??? I'm missing that card(Heishin refuses to give me it), so I guess I'll go for him then.

	I wouldn't bother dueling DarkNite for it as Heishin (the first) gives it out more often. But the funny thing is that I only get it when I don't have a lot of wins. I couldn't get it from him after I had more than 1000 wins.

	My uncle as i said discovered something intresting for the game, simple yet pettry much good, since a few peopletested it out, its a law for the game, i call it the string law it goes like this: play 10 or less or more Duels with Pow for example get S rank, until you start getting bad cards,l, now go for an endurance duel and get a S-TECH rank, untill you start getting bad cards again, rinse and repeat, doing this my uncle won from the High desert mage spell binding circle, Necrolance the timelord, two mout dark ruler, sword arm dragon, and an other legendary sword. ------------------- Support the Last Story wiki! I have 440 duels against him, and I've won just about everything else that can be won from him in POW. Sanga, Suijin, Kazeijin, Labyrinth Tank, Launcher Spider, Flame Cerberus, Exodia the Forbidden, Aqua Dragon(this one was ironically harder to get than the rest)... everything EXCEPT Bickuribox. Maybe I'm just having the same problem as you, too many wins? @ Unknown: I believe you misread my post; I counted the low mages as among the duelists that you CAN face more than once in campaign mode. Re-read my post... though I guess I didn't quite phrase it very well. @ Squeek: You got Bickuribox from both of them??? What am I not doing right...? XD Oh, there's something I did notice about Heishin1; he seems to give out some cards more easily in campaign mode. In campaign mode, he just keeps dueling you until he beats you... I went on a marathon against him once(lost at about 40-something), but in the last few duels, I started getting really good cards... at about 30-something duels, I got Suijin. Next duel, Labyrinth Tank. A couple of duels later, Sanga?! And I know that these are cards that gave other people lots of trouble to get. So I guess it IS true that rare cards are easier to get in campaign... I wonder if Heishin 1 gives you PUGM if you beat him 500 times in a row in campaign mode? LOL

	To be honest he is the only Character besides the jono and teana and villagers you can verse over and over again.. So it would not surprise me.. if he gave you the rituals after a certain amount of dueling him and winning... I reckon your spot on with your theory i won 3 good ish cards in a row before one was actually a bickuribox =P
