I'm new here as well. this place looks interesting and entertaining. I may explore the depths of my fashion extravaganza : the sleek style of various suits to the blue jeans and open shirt. May the forum take head and endeavor my desires and purchases, beyond this mere mortal territory.

Sorry about the long hiatus guys, but it's far from over.

So the reason why I haven't been checking the forums recently is because I've been seriously considering starting my own clothing line and spent the last few months ironing out some detail etc... Nothing will be released before mid April but ideas are coming along nicely (that is until I lost a crapload of stuff in my old laptop) and I've got the $$$, most of the supplies and equipment figured out.

I'm not in this alone, it's a joint venture between three of us and we're very excited to see this happen.

About the line itself, I think it's a great concept that I can't wait to see realized. We're coming out with a lot of novel ideas that look AMAZING, so be on the lookout for my stuff!

Marketing I'm really leaning on word of mouth because I can't compete with the big dogs at this level, but it pays to be friends with a few models and the organizer of a major Canadian runway show.

It's really what you are into and what you like. Hell I think I've been doing it for about 4 years, so I guess it's just expected of your posts. But if I had to type all this crap out by hand, I wouldn't do it. Like when I post from my phone, I just go with the default. But I like the ability to make my posts differentiate from others. Almost like telling the difference between someones hand-writing.

I noticed that too, but I'm not sure if it is just because of Christmas, since it seems to be a Christmassy colour these days, rather than the typical red/gold/green... (I think it as green, meh)

Oh you mean like those kind of "flannel" shirts? like a variation of the kind stereotypical Canadian shirts they wear to kill deer in? I have seen a lot of those around, I think they can look quite nice though as long as they aren't really... Canadian looking.
