I am at ch 9 of the game 45% through and for some reason i can't get past this part to the next point i charm the helper to lower the box but can't seem to jump onto the block to go into that section tried with the jump dark gift won't let me use it and tried to just jump but keep flling into the water can't jump that far please someone help

you can move the box in the chanel to in front of the break in the grate on the second level. Then charm the guy from the first pilar not the entrance platform and as soon as he's turned the valve press "A" to return to your body then run and jump before the canel fills with water. You can run along behind the pilars without drowning but will fizzal slightly.

But i'm stuck in the next chamber of water i keep dieing and there is no save glyph and your back in the corridor before killing the big beast in the machine again!

HELP

i only see the blocked path by magic and the guy to be charmed then i charm him and it pulls a giant block the i cant reach it ...i dont see any other guys and valve or wathever
