Honestly, I plan on buying vista (more reasons than just halo 2) but only if it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg!

I won't buy it JUST to play Halo 2, although I do plan on getting it eventually. It's probably going to cost a lot when it first comes out, and I want to wait a while incase there are any bugs they need to work out.

vista is like $199 plus i need to upgrade xp to it plus there is alot of nice things about its gives you free play so you dont have to pay for playing online now so its a little better.

You don't even need to get Vista to Play Halo 2, remember the old brick that was the Xbox?. well get one of those or play it on the 360. simple and wont cost as much as vista £70 sterling when new.
