General Discussion

Come in here and chat about rugby in general!

Two weeks till the third round of the 6 nations!

Saturday 25th Febuary
France Vs Italy 14.00
Scotland Vs England 17.30

Sunday 26th Febuary
Ireland Vs Wales

I'd guess France, England & Ireland to win..

Wales haven't looked strong this year and Ireland playing at home might just give them that extra advantage!

Im gonna say that France, England and Wales will win - not going with my Heart i genuinely believe with Henson back we will be a much more formidable force and we need him to be playing against O'Driscoll

Ruddock resigns from Wales.

That's well timed.

re: General Discussion

Absolutley gutted about Ruddock, he did say it was family reasons and the job as manager "is more than just a job" he said you spend to much time away with your family and in preparation for the world cup in France 07 he said that he would be constantly away, anyways it is a bit untimed you think he would wait another month huh?

What you mean stick with the centers we have got? have you been watching Luscome and Watkins in the they seem a bit out of their depth at the moment - the quicker Henson gets back in the team the better, we are also missing Shankers big time

re: General Discussion

Should Wales play Henson? First of all he hasn't played for a while and also that Watkins seems quite good. But what about you?

I agree he hasnt played and been having match practice but i do not think for one minute hes out of condition and he will have been training hard while his ban is running

What you mean he hasnt steered us to success this year? surley you didnt expect back to back grandslams? he has only played two games, he has taken Welsh rugby to another level and im gutted hes gone

re: General Discussion

Jenkins does not want Wales job

Wales are on the verge of losing their caretaker aswell by the look of the last few paragraphs.
Surely all of this should have either been sorted out either before or after the 6 nations even started, carries on like this and they risk ruining their tournament.

Ruddock told to quit immediately

quote
Mike Ruddock says he wanted to stay on as Wales coach until the end of the Six Nations but was told to stand down immediately by the Welsh Rugby Union

Thought it would have been something like that.

re: General Discussion

Yeh from a personal point of view not a bad time to step down but hes left the international squad in a bit if a state now, he did say he wanted to finish the Six Nations but the WRU forced him to leave now so they could find a suitable replacement quicker, makes sense i suppose gives the new bloke time before the Rugby World Cup in France 07

re: General Discussion

Muzzy being the only Wales fan I've seen on this forum, who do you want the job to go to? Personally I have no idea who they can pick.
