anyone else having troubles with this game?

I am, too. I can't even seem to figure out how to tack up Zora. I feel like an idiot..

wen ur jumpin try to do it in a canter (3rd speed) wait till there is a full horse distance then jump bcause it takes a while to actually jump

i dont hav a clue on wat 2 build 1st im having trouble with money on this game 2

oh and 2 tack up u go 2 the icon with shelves then u clik it.on the left side there is a saddle clik and it will come up with different icons press the btridle 1 and choose a bridle and then do the same for other objects.u wont see the tack untill u go on the ride (wich i thinks very stupid)

When I first played this game, I was like you. I had no idea of how to play this game, and yet, make enough money to keep up everything. I discovered this on my game, so it should be on yours also. Here are a few good tricks to play your game: (including: getting mutli millions, tacking up your horse, how to ride jumps constantly without messing up, and some things you should now)

1: (this only works if you have 1 horse. The more horses you have the less this will appear) go to the office. select the horse guy. Then click buy horses, and scroll down to the last horses of all three genders (mare, stallion, gelding), and clikc on the last horse. its price should be something like -1224345345. click on it. you do not have to be in dept to buy these horses. it will give you the ammount listed (but in positive numbers, not negative) p-lus the horse. But I would sell the horse anyways. Now you can buy everything in the store, plus upgrade and take care of your horses.

2.(This is for tacking up your horse) Go to the barn, clcik on where your horse is at. click on the medicene cabinet looking thing and it will give you four choices: Tack up your horse, feed your horse, groom your horse, medicate your horse. Click on the saddle looking sign and it will bring up a screen with the tack you own. click on the saddle, and the saddle's you own will be highlighted. click on the saddle (Hint: press select to veiw statisicts on the saddles. There are different types of saddles). now your horse will be tacked up.

3. every horse jumps differently. some horses will wait 1-2 seconds after you press the A button so hit the A button before the jump comes close to avoid falling. also, tack helps your horse jump. if you have a bad jumpign horse that is juist starting out, I recommend tacking him/her up with the lower selection of the tack menu. the different items will affect how bad/good your horse jumps. for a good horse, a saddle and bridle is all you need. No whips, lariat, saddle pad, nothing but a saddle and bridle.

4. To delete the many saved spaces you dont need, try saving a game, then turning the power off before it is done saving. It happened to me, but as I try again, it wont work. maybe it only works with the first saved game.

My horses keep getting sick. I feed them every day and give them plenty of exercise. I also groom them every round. Why is this?

Okay, I have some questions too.

Does anyone know about the glitch with the tick remover? After you buy it isn't in your inventory and you can't buy it anymore!

Also, how the heck do you rename your horses?!

My problem is that my friend lost the manual and the game doesn't have a good way of helping you along, so I always go in debt quickly. I tried to check out the gamespot.com thing, but it doesn't exist (the review) :*(

Oh, forgot one thing! Save your game before attempting the hurdles. Your horse will get hurt or sick if you fall even once! This way you can shut off the game and try again fresh. Only continue on with the game after you pass the corse. You will keep your horse safe from harm by doing this. After the corse is passed you should save the game again.
