Ubisoft isn't revealing too much about Splinter Cell: Blacklist right now. Their "ComDev" video series, for instance, doesn't actually feature any gameplay, but the community does get to have some of its questions answered.
The latest episode, again featuring Splinter Cell community dev Zack Cooper, Ubisoft addresses the question of play styles, as in allowing players to tackle the game in any number of ways. Typically, Splinter Cell makes us think of stealth, but this doesn't have to be the case. If you prefer to run-and-gun, Blacklist does allow that to an extent.
Your rewards, however, will vary, though it sounds like Ubi wants to make sure everyone gets a little something. This system has been dubbed the "Economy System," where you'll be granted points and a "category" based on your performance. Whether any of these will lead to bigger rewards remains to be seen.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist is expected to arrive sometime this spring.
