12gig ps3 help

So i may be getting a ps3 12g model and i know i will need more storage eventually the question is can i stick a portable HDD to the ps3 for saves/game updates and dlc?

Am I that far out of the loop?? They make 12 gig ps3's now? or does he mean 120?

And yea, u can do the external hdd. I do, but I don't use it like that, I mostly use mine to back up my ps3 incase of crashes. But you can use it like the way your asking, I am not familiar with that way though. Prolly be best to youtube it.

A 12GB is a waste of money. All it will take is 2 or 3 games with big installs and there goes that 12GB of room.

I repeat, 12 gb Solid State Drive. It's supposed to read a lot faster than regular hard drives so it's got to be worth of something, I agree that it would be really inconvenient to be deleting stuff constantly to be able to get the benefits from the SSD.
