Neoseeker Platinum Trophy Leaderboards + Chat/Help #20 - Page 29

Almost tied up the Kingdoms of Amalur Platinum, still a few little bits to do but the only thing that may stop me is the Persuasion trophy, not entirely sure how many I've done but I'm going to have to go through every little quest to try and find the odd Speech Checks that I need, if I can't find them I'll have to get the Teeth of Naros DLC and get the checks from that too because I'm definitely not starting the game again just for the trophy :/

So I'm torn between buying Hitman HD Trilogy or Mass Effect HD Trilogy.
Any advice?

If you've never played the original Hitman games, you missed the boat really. They're still fun but as PS2 games they're obviously dated. In their time they were groundbreaking, really special games. As for Mass Effect, I absolutely LOVED 2 & 3. Wasn't a fan of the first when I went back and played it after 2, it lacks a lot of polish and contains a lot of useless RPG elements.

Also as a side, the original Hitman trilogy often sells on Steam for like, £5.00, so it's not actually worth as much as the ME series either.

I'd go for Mass Effect, Pat.

I had a lot more fun with Hitman, but ME is definitely something you need to experience.. That being said I was quite disappointed with the direction after 1, it's a very minimal RPG now... Mainly a shooter.

Still, if that's your thing by all means.

You should definitely try it Mnmfan. Like I said though, I haven't actually played ME1 myself yet, due to it only recently getting a release, so I can't say for sure how good it is. And bear in mind that its what, 5 or 6 years old now, so its likely to be showing its age.

Regardless, even if you don't think much of ME1, you should carry on through to the sequels as they are absolutely epic. I know you said its quite expensive but, if you enjoy the series as much as I think you will, you'll also want all of the dlc as well, which will be another 25 quid or so.....Oh, and if you're buying online, make sure you get an online pass code with 2 & 3, otherwise you'll be missing out on a lot of pretty much essential content.

I doubt that. Its only been out what 2 or 3 months.

Anyway, I give up. Trying to convince you to buy a certain game is like trying to get blood from a stone.

Quite enjoying Mass Effect. It's different. It's very greedy with the trophies though. Been playing for roughly 6 hours but only have 3 trophies. Platinum requires 3.5 playthroughs too.
