	Log in to remove this sponsored message So my PS3 is overheated and I was wondering if anyone knows if the box trick (putting the PS3 in a box and blowing a hair dryer into the box (similar to the towel trick for the 360)) actually works and if so is it a permanent fix or just temporary? Thanks.

	Are you referring to reflowing the CPU and GPU when your PS3 gets yellow light? That's the first time I've heard about the box trick. Usually it's done by using a heat gun to heat the entire board or some people use oven to do it. In any case this is not a permanent fix so it's just a matter of time before it stops working again. -------------------

Thanks. It can work if done properly. Not 100% guaranteed to work though. It's only temporary, and can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 days, maybe more if your lucky.
