1,000 Wishes is piss easy. Think by the time I had done all the other trophies I was at 600 wishes. So for the last 400 I just cheesed it. Create a new house with 6 people and deprive them of everything, soon they'll just wish for a cooker, toilet, bath and bed, do it for everyone. Delete them, save, load and repeat.

Although you can only do it to get you to 999 wishes for some reason, doing it to a thousand will bring up the in-game challenge as complete but the trophy won't pop up. For mine to pop up I had to load up my proper family and complete one of their 'normal' wishes.

But yeah, loved doing that Platinum, shame I couldn't get into Pets.

Nevermore, are you still interested in doing the MW3 Survival/Spec Op trophies?

Btw, does anyone know if the difficulty glitch between the Japanese and Western versions of DMC3 have been fixed for the HD Collection?

Well jbh said he still wants to go for it, so I'm up for it, although I'm not that bothered about it, I'm happy just having the game as something to play for fun and not a Platinum to go for. Especially since I'm pretty crap at the game anyways.

Be careful, there is some pretty nasty glitches with regards to some of the bigger trophies in that game that will force you to start another save and do everything again except for 5 starring every case unless you missed it on your first playthrough, I didn't have any problems. I think the rule is that if you didn't have some of the easier random trophies glitching on you like driving flat out for more than 10 seconds and follow that wifey without getting caught and without using incognito, then you shouldn't have any of the others like shamus to the stars, the brass and any of the collectibles thus leading to the 100% completion trophy glitching out on you. But it's best to make back up saves when you're one off each collectible just to make sure you get the trophy, same with the top rank trophy, make a back up save just before you've maxed out level 19 and about to get to level 20.

I would try go for the Lead Foot and The Moose trophies first seeing as they're easier/quicker to do, if they glitch out on you, then be prepared to do back up saves for the others like I said before. Also, the vehicle related trophies might get pretty annoying after a while as not that many cars have a fixed spawn location.

Wow, turns out the only person in Europe who got the THPS HD plat before me had the game a day early and got it the same time the Americans did. So it's fair to say, out of the people who got it on the official release, I was in the first in Europe to get it, which isn't a bad achievement to be honest. Seeing as the plat isn't easy, but if you are good, you can get it done quickly.

Anyone from the UK using the LOVEFiLM service, I got my account activated today (a Saturday). Do they post your games using the Royal Mail so I should get my games on Monday morning? I got an email saying they'll be posting them in the afternoon which is a bit gay.
