I believe the implication was that FIFA is a cash cow due to the fact they release THE SAME *bleep*ING GAME EACH YEAR. Fifa 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12...

I'm actually not stupid and knew exactly what JBH was implying, I just wanted him to come out and say it so he looked stupid, instead he just posts a laughing emoticon to look smug.The problem though is he was assuming that I was being negative with my comment when I really wasn't. Of course they are going to make another MGS game that fits somewhere in the series (whether it being a prequel or expansion) because the Metal Gear Solid series has such a huge fan base already that it is easy money for them.

They are milking the cash cow because it's profitable. There is nothing wrong with that if the end product is quality.

sidenote: Go play Fifa 01 and then Fifa 12 and tell me they are the same game. The game (and most all sports game for that matter) is an example of micro-evolution. No huge changes each year but small enough changes that do effect the way the game is played. There is a huge difference between how I played Fifa 11 when compared to Fifa 12.

Think of this as a real life scenario. You say something and someone responds by saying, "Coming from the guy that ____________." You ask, "what does that mean?/ What do you mean by that?" and the person just laughs at you and walks away. What would you think? The guy was just joking around with you? Of course not, you would think the person was trying to be a smug asshole. Don't try and cover up for someone, if JBH was joking, he would have just said "It was a joke" and moved on instead of the "" face.

Also, you make it seem like I'm sitting here raging at my computer over a comment...I'm not. I'm just explaining why I made my comment, which is exactly what JBH should have done. Explanations make things clearer, avoiding to explain doesn't and result in situations like this.

I'm still dumbfounded why you feel the need to respond for JBH though, makes no sense.

I have no problem with people wanting to prove something (if I'm positive of something I also like to prove my point) but if you want to prove something to make someone look stupid then don't bother proving anything.

Now maybe you assumption of jbh was correct but you have no way of proving that so don't turn it into an argument to try and get him to own up to what may or may not have been his intention.You have no factual evidence on whether jbh was being serious or joking around so tbh you're assuming yourself.

Remember the saying "not everything is as it seems."


Deception No need to fuel the fire. I know that it can be hard to just let things go but if you don't agree with what others are saying and you think there is cause for concern over what others are saying then just report their post/s instead of putting your two cents in

My prediction is playing as The Boss during World War II, then flash forwards to Big Boss doing something in the 70s. As Kojima said, Solid Snake's story is over, and I doubt he would attempt to create a bigger conclusion than 4's.

Just reading the title 'MGS 5' gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside, love the Metal Gear Solid series and whether it's a prequel or sequel, doesn't bother me, I just know when it comes to the games release I know my £40 is going to be very well spent.
