I was looking forwards to downloading Oddworld but to my horror, when I previewed the game, it looks like its been turned into some lame 3rd person rubbish. What happened to the old platforming type gameplay? Alas, I won't be downloading.

Oddworld hasn't been 2D since Abe's Exoddus in 1998.

jbh SW was never on PS2.Like the Dead Or Alive creator, once the XBOX came along, Lorn Lanning didn't want his games on the PS2.

A few developers did not want to develop for the PS2.After DOA 2 the Dead Or Alive creator actually stated that he would rather shoot himself in the head than make another DOA for the PS2.

Anyway I'm gonna play devils advocate and say that Paulipoos if you thinkg you wouldn't like it then I think you may be right.

Obviously you have never played it and I hadn't played it till the HD version came out on PSN and tbh I think that while it's an ok game, it's kind of boring.

I beat maybe half the game before I deleted it because I just didn't find it that fun.

Going by the comments here it seems that it's a far better game if you played it when it was originally released.
